I HAVE A 1970 JEEP IT IS A SMALLER TYPE ,LIKE THE ARMY TYPE, IT HAS BEEN SETTING IN A BARN FOR 30 YEARS , IT WAS RUNNING WHEN PARKED. BUT THE TRANSMISSION WAS OUT OF IT , AND IS STILL OUT OF IT ALONG WITH THE RADIATOR, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS ALL THERE, WITH A HOT BATTERY IT WILL TURN OVER ITS NOT STUCK OR CRACKED,BUT I HAVE NOT HAD IT RUNNING. IT WILL HAVE TO BE HAULED. FROM WHAT IVE READ THIS IS THE YEAR AMC TOOK OVER ,AND IT WAS CALLED THE UNIVERSAL MODEL. IT HAS A 225 BUICK V-6 CALLED THE DAUNTLESS V-6 AND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE TOUGHEST ENGINES EVER USED IN THE JEEP . IT IS A PRETTY RARE MODEL. IT IS VERY SOLID REALLY NO RUST ALL THE WAY THROUGH MOSTLY SURFACE . THIS WOULD MAKE A REAL COOL PROJECT THAT WOULD PAY OFF IN THE END. IT IS FOR SALE OR TRADE, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY. CALL ME ANYTIME MY NAME IS DAVE 423-851-1684 OR 423-526-0690 THANKS FOR LOOKING THIS IS A TRUE BARN FIND

Jeep gunning for 1M sales this year
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Jeep CEO Mike Manley would rather soft-pedal the seven-figure prognostication for now, but Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne won't have it, proclaiming in an interview that Jeep will sell one million units worldwide this year. Manley has called that come-hither number "a stretch," the history of recent gains perhaps reason for his caution: in 2011 the brand sold 568,317 units, followed by the record-breaking tally of 701,626, then another record in 2013 with 731,565 units moved.
That kind of gap means everything will need to go magically for Jeep to record a 37-percent increase this year - amazing Cherokee sales, a brilliant launch for the little Jeep arriving in Europe later this year and a heavy wave to raise sales in US, European and Chinese markets. Manley is confident about the prospects in 2015, though, with the Cherokee in full stride, the Fiat-based Jeep on its way to the US and expanded global production. It's not as though Marchionne's prediction for Jeep's 2014 sales is unexpected, since he first made it last year. But even if the number ends up a little short for 2014, there's no doubt it will be impressive.

2014 Jeep Cherokee
Thu, 19 Sep 2013The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
