1985 laredo, i will just start from the front, everything is new, 4" lift shocks, stabilizer, bushings, new power steering box, new brakes, lockouts and bearings, i took the motor out of a 94 suburban, and completely had it rebuilt, bored .30 all new componenets, built by a professional engine shop, i didnt cam it up, so it runs smooth, edelbrock intake and carb, cermaic headers, i used all advance adapter hardware, motor mounts, and the turbo 350 to the dana 300 adapter, the transmission was done by a premier transmission shop in my home town also, the dana 300 was done also, i put new front and rear driveshafts in the jeep, cv in the rear and both are very heavy duty, the exhaust is duals, with flowmaster mufflers, so the jeep isnt loud, but has a nice tone, on the picture of the mufflers, some grease came out of the ujoint, thats the stain on the muffler,  the rear end was gone thru, has new brakes, hardware, and the upgraded one-piece axles, the gears are 2.73, the rims are 15x12 weld scorpios with 35" dick cepek tires, which are in new condition, the winch is a warn powerplant with air compressor (never used) , the rear has the ROCKHARD bumper with handy man jack, and tire swing, i had the jeep repainted, the factory tire swing holes were filled in, there is no rust on the jeep, the color is the factory sebring red, and i put the laredo decals back on it, the radio is new with remote and 4 new speakers, new gaskets and rubber, interior is mint, the jeep was a factory 258 with an automatic and air conditioning and hardtop and doors, i sold the top and doors, (they were in my way, plus i only drive this jeep on nice days, and a jeep isnt a jeep with the top on), the jeep drives great , steering is tight, and rolls 65 at 2000rpm, it has alot of power....if you have any questions email me ,but there is no buy it now, or dont ask what the reserve is, if the reserve doesnt get hit, i will contact the last bidder, that is if were close, good luck and whoever wins this aution will have a nice jeep laredo,, thanks again for looking

Daily Driver: 2015 Jeep Renegade Sport 4x4

Fri, Jul 10 2015

Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog test fleet, reviewed by the staffers who drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Jeep Renegade Sport 4x4, reviewed by Adam Morath. Something to note: The vehicle tested here is a pre-production unit, and we had some issues with the MySky removable roof system. (Associate editor Brandon Turkus mentioned these problems in his Quick Spin.) FCA confirms that improvements were made for production-spec cars. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. [00:00:00] Hey, this is Adam Morath with another Daily Driver. Today, we're in the 2015 Jeep Renegade and I'm excited to be driving this in a Sport trim level. That's the lowest trim that they offer it in. I say I'm excited, because often we get the cars to totally spec-ed out to the max, the automaker trying to show off what they can do with the car but it doesn't always give you a realistic view of how most customers are going to spec the car, and I think with the Renegade being the entry-level model for Jeep now [00:00:30] replacing the outgoing Patriot and Compass, it makes sense to drive this in the Sport trim. We do have it in 4x4, comes in at just around $23,000. It's powered by a turbocharged 1.4 liter inline 4 and we've got it, made it to the 6-speed manual transmission, which is pretty cool. Again you can see FCA's fingerprints on this car. If they wanted to do well in Europe, of course you've got to offer it with a manual and that's nice for consumers here to have that choice of having a stick shift in the Jeep again. [00:01:00] That's kind of fun. It produces 160-horsepower, 184 pound-feet of torque. It's got a little pack to it. I wouldn't call it sporty but it's enough for a vehicle of this size. This is a pretty basic version of the renegade. The only options we have on it are the AC, the roof rails, 4-wheel drive, which is a must here in Michigan and then these MySky roof panels, which I'll get to in a minute, but that takes us from a base price of $18,000, the cheapest you'll be able to get into a Renegade for [00:01:30] up to about $23,700, which is where we're at. Yes, these are MySky roof panels. It's a totally new feature on the Renegade that Jeep is trying out and I think it's pretty cool. It's like a tee top system, except the panels aren't side by side. You have one in the front and one in the back.

Watch this 840-hp Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 walk away from GT-Rs and M3s

Thu, Dec 11 2014

This last-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 does things that SUVs just shouldn't be able to do, like win drag races against tuned Nissan GT-R and BMW M3 coupes. Granted, the owner isn't coming into this fight with a stock Jeep – far from it. In addition to twin turbos whistling away, he says the engine is a 449-cubic-inch V8, which is nearly 7.4 liters of displacement. As it runs here, the driver claims that the turbos are pumping out around 14 psi of boost to give an estimated 840 horsepower. What's more, he further maintains the powertrain could reach around 1,200 hp with things fully cranked up. Even somewhat dialed back, this Jeep is ready to take on a breadth of formidable challengers, including a couple of Chevrolet Corvette models and a Lamborghini Aventador. Check out the video to see how this menacing Grand Cherokee fares in a day at the races.

Jeep spied testing Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

Fri, Mar 11 2016

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is coming. We know this, because Mike Manley, the head of Jeep, said so. We showed you this brief spy video a while back, but now we have our clearer images of the Trackhawk undergoing testing. And it looks just like a normal Grand Cherokee SRT. Yeah, anti-climactic, we know. The four shots we have show a bit of camo over the front bumper and grille, likely concealing a tweaked design or visible bits of the 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. It looks like there's a rather substantial opening below the upper grille, almost like a ram-air system. There's also a smidge of what looks like tape on the front wheel arches, although this might not mean much of anything. What's interesting is what isn't here. There's no perceivable change to the back of the car. The exhaust pipes look like they're about the same size, there's no noticeable changes to the aerodynamics, and in fact, there's not even any camouflage. Jeep also hasn't updated the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk's hood, which is somewhat surprising considering the changes for every other Hellcat-equipped vehicle (concepts included). You can check out our earliest look at the Trackhawk up top. As for when this monstrous Grand Cherokee will debut, we're expecting it to arrive sometime in 2017, perhaps on FCA's home turf at the Detroit Auto Show. Related Video:
