1984 Jeep CJ7 - clear title - clean Jeep zero rust
search this on youtube to see a video of the Jeep - 1984 Jeep CJ7 Nevada chevy 350 beadlocks Body - clean, no rust, original brown paint on inside of tub, now sports a rattle can camo tan and brown on the outside, welded in front tube flat fenders, welded in rear tube fender flares, heavy angle iron rock sliders along bottom sides, strong metal rear corners, rear swing out tire carrier, full roll cage with three hoops, front seats are mastercraft suspension non reclining, factory rear bench seat, rear led flush mount tail lights, Brand new full top from Bestop, I also have half soft doors. Mile Marker 8,000# winch, has tow bar mounts welded to front end. Engine - was originally a 4 cylinder Jeep, now has a chevy 350 crate motor swap, engine has maybe 2,000 miles since swap, holley truck avenger off road carburetor to handle the angles, headers, flowmaster muffler, mandrel bent exhaust, very healthy motor runs great and starts right up. Drive train - 4 speed SM465 transmission with granny first gear, I just swapped in this tranny, still have the one that was in it but the main gear shaft splines are gone, new coupler mating the tranny to a Lowmax NP205 transfer case, has 3 to 1 gears, you can go to jbconversions to see the transfer case. very heavy duty drive train. I have a rebuild kit for the transmission that I will give you. Axles - Rear axle is a Dana Model 20 with 4.56 ratio, detroit locker, superior one piece rear axles, Front axle is a Dana Model 30 with 4.56 ratio, true trac locker. suspension is leaf springs that I think are for a YJ, longer than stock with lots of flex, rides really nice and has good ground clearance and doesn't feel tippy on the trail. Tires - 35 x 12.5 x 15 BFGoodrich KM2 Mud Terrain tires that are basically brand new with a rock rash on the leading edges. Wheels are steel wheels with welded on Beadlocks. Jeep currently has wheel spacers for a wider stance. The Bads - The turn signals don't flash because the led tail lights don't draw enough amperage to make the flasher relay work, Speedometer isn't hooked up - needs a cable extension to reach transfer case, no heater - only drove it in the summer and was only used by me for trails, steering has some play but drives fine down the road - it's a lifted modified Jeep, does have power steering. No stereo, so you can enjoy the sweet sounding engine. knobs on dash are the originals and some slide off the shaft if not careful, like the pull for the headlights. I have bought and sold a lot of vehicles on Ebay and am trying give you every little detail of the vehicle. I bought this Jeep for my wife to drive on the trail, I have an FJ40 and didn't have enough room for the family, so we needed two vehicles. We used it and now decided that it was too much work for me to guide my wife through the trail (luckily this Jeep was very capable on the trails and didn't require much guiding just some confidence to the driver), and prep two vehicles. Any question ask and I will answer. If your having the Jeep picked up by a shipping company that is fine or if your picking it up in person. |

Radical 2016 Jeep Wrangler suggested by job listings?
Fri, 31 May 2013With most inside the industry expecting the next-generation Jeep Wrangler to arrive for the 2016 model year, it makes sense that the automaker would be looking for some choice candidates to to fill program openings as the off-roader goes through its development. A recent ad on Chryslercareers.com suggests to some that the lightweight Wrangler Stitch Concept, revealed just two months ago and shown above, provides some clues about the off-road icon's next iteration.
According to Automotive News, the job descriptions - which don't name the model specifically - hint that the next-generation Wrangler will benefit from a serious diet. The ads appear to seek those familiar with advanced high-strength steels, hinting that lightweight aluminum body panels may appear on the 4x4. In addition, there are suggestions that Jeep may fit the Wrangler replacement with air suspension, as seen on the Ram and Grand Cherokee, to retain ample off-road clearance yet lower that chassis to improve aerodynamics at highway speeds. The job postings reportedly also lend credence to the idea of a diesel Wrangler.
It seems every bit of the next-generation Wrangler is up for review, as it will be the first time this iconic model is redesigned under Fiat ownership. Questions remain whether or not the Jeep will retain its clip-down hood, easy-to-remove door pins and folding front windshield - loyalists expect them, but fuel economy and safety standards may crimp their cases for survival.
Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?
Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
