1984 Jeep CJ7. 4.2L 258 cu in 6 cylinder engine, maunal transmission, Fiberglass body with 6.5 Ft Western Plow.
The guy I bought it from did a frame off rebuild 5 years ago. posi rear axle, manual turn out front hubs, custom wiring harness with MSD Street fire Ignition, with REV LIMITER set at a LOW 3600 RPMS you can adjust it by opening the glove box and turning the numbered dial.
Larger Ford Distributor, Accel Plug wires, 100amp Alternator, 2100 carb swap, LED tail lights.
This is not a show Jeep as you can see in the pictures. However, it starts right up and runs great. It has a power up/down and angle plow with a blade that is very solid. It has a dual battery system for lots of Extra power for the Fisher/ Western plow pump.
It has black factory CJ7 steel rims with 33x10.5 x 15 BF Mud Terrains on it. It also has a Full Size 33x10.5 spare BFG AT.
It comes with some extra parts like a manual steering box and belt driven plow pump. Just left over parts that you could sell or give away since this Jeep has power steering and a hydraulic pump plow.
It does not have a radio, it does have a fold and tumble rear seat and a cargo cover made out of plywood and carpeted. Fold the seat down and put the cover on and you now have a nice flat cargo area that's plywood on top of 2x4's so it can handle some weight.
The body tub is fiberglass, but the front fenders and hood are steel. There are a few small rust bubbles on the fenders and two paints chips in the hood. The steel parts are in ok shape, plenty good for a Jeep, but if you wanted to make this into a show Jeep, I'd replace those steel parts with fiberglass parts. I've owned numerous Jeeps and what attracted me to this Jeep was the way it ran, the fiberglass body and the plow. You have $500 worth of a hardtop and steel doors, $1000 for the plow and a fiberglass tub costs over $2000, just for the parts. I owned a steel Jeep that was fully refinished and looked awesome for about 6 years, then the rust came back, it always does. That's why I would only buy a fiberglass Jeep.
It would cost more than twice as much as I'm asking to build this Jeep

Jeep Cherokee sales rival Wrangler after two months
Sun, 29 Dec 2013In our First Drive article on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee we said, "our informal and thoroughly unscientific opinion is they're going to sell tons of them. Why? Because it is very good." So far, it appears the public concurs. Of course, it's very early - the new compact utility has logged just one month of confirmed sales, but Larry Vellequette at Automotive News says dealers have told him that the second month of sales will be even better, a message that mirrors what we've heard from company execs.
In its first, severely truncated month on sale, the Cherokee sold 579 units. With all of November to play with, though, dealers moved 10,169 of them - compared to 11,753 Wranglers and 14,798 Grand Cherokees. That helped propel Jeep to a 30-percent year-on-year improvement for the month, Chrysler Group to a 16-percent improvement and the group's 44th consecutive month of sales growth, exceeding analyst expectations in posting its best November numbers since 2007.
If it can just keep replicating the its first month of sales, the finalist in North American Truck of the Year voting will smoke the trade done by the outgoing Liberty, which didn't break 7,900 units in a month in the last four years of its life (and normally didn't get close to even that). In March this year, Chrysler said it wants to build 250,000 Cherokees in its Toledo assembly plant for global sales. It's early yet, but with second-month sales quoted as being as "strong as death," the bookies might be resetting the odds.
Jeep gives a trio of customs an encore showing at SEMA
Wed, 05 Nov 2014While Jeep certainly had some new customs on display at this year's SEMA show, it wasn't afraid to recycle a few that people might have missed from earlier this year. The maker of many beloved off-roaders already displayed the Jeep Cherokee Dakar, Maximum Performance Wrangler and Wrangler Mojo at the 2014 Easter Safari, but they all made it to SEMA for an encore.
Based around the Trailhawk, the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) imagines an even more off-road-capable version of the crossover. The concept wears a mix of Silver Steel Stain paint with Flame Red graphics and rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. To back up the rugged look, the Dakar is fitted with rock rails and skid plates protecting the oil pan, front suspension, fuel tank and other underbody parts. It also sports prototype parts from Jeep Performance Parts, including a lift kit and fender flares.
The Wrangler is one of the paragons of off-roading, and as the name suggests, the Maximum Performance Wrangler concept is meant to be the ultimate example of what it can do. The custom features locking Dana 60 axles front and rear, a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, prototype 4-inch lift kit and 37-inch Mud Terrain tires over beadlock wheels. To stay on the trails well into the night, a bar of LEDs is mounted above the windshield. And finally, the Mopar Blue exterior kind of makes the vehicle look like the world's toughest blueberry.
2014 Jeep Cherokee starting price set at $22,995*
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Love it or hate it, the 2014 Cherokee is on its way to a Jeep showroom near you this fall. Today, Chrysler announced the different trim levels, features and pricing for its new compact utility with a starting price of $22,995 (*not including $995 for destination), which is $400 less than the 2012 Liberty it ostensibly replaces.
Available in four trim levels - Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk - the new Cherokee will come standard with Chrysler's 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine with the upper three levels offering the option of the company's 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. The base Sport is your typical entry-level model, featuring equipment including manual cloth seats and black exterior mirrors and door handles, but it also has a five-inch Uconnect media center, LED taillights and 10 standard airbags. Stepping up from the Sport model, Latitude and Limited trims bring increasing levels of luxury starting at $24,495 and $27,995, respectively. All three of these trims are front-wheel drive in standard configuration and offer varying versions of Jeep's Active Drive four-wheel-drive system.
The range-topping $29,495 Cherokee Trailhawk (shown above) comes standard with four-wheel drive and numerous upgrades to earn Jeep's Trail Rated fender badge. These changes include a unique design that adds an off-road suspension with taller ride height giving more aggressive approach and departure angles, underbody skid plates, distinguishing exterior design elements and a seven-inch, reconfigurable instrument gauge cluster similar to what it found in high-trim Dodge Dart models. Scroll down for a full breakdown of the 2014 Cherokee pricing and trim levels, and let us know what you think of the model's pricing and equipment in Comments.
