has vlair on board air with remote reservoir behind rear seat. warn 9k winch with remote relay box under hood and control plug in grill. has warn lights in front bumper, windshield and roof rack, these are the dual mode units very bright and expensive. roof rack and cage are congo units. it comes with a bikini top, soft half doors, cover and mirrors.  holy crap - i am just adding up what i have spent on this jeep - it is staggering. all restoration and modifications have been performed to the very finest detail with no bolt left untouched. this vehicle draws a lot of attention wherever it goes with one common comment "very tastefully done". everything works on this jeep with the exception of an inaccurate fuel gauge (despite much effort to correct), as stated it will heat up on extreme days if not aware and could use a dyno tune for maximum performance.

I am offering this jeep at a very reasonable starting bid of 22,500.00 with no reserve. Because this vehicle is highly modified I would not recommend it to be used as a daily driver although it has been perfectly reliable. I am selling this vehicle with NO  warranty. It is for sale locally and auction could end at any time. it is available for inspection at any time and would encourage such. I am available for any questions at 908-797-9500 Bruce.

please bid with commitment - I am serious about selling as you should be about buying.

WINNING BIDDER IS EXPECTED TO SUBMIT A DEPOSIT OF 1000.00 WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END - NO EXCEPTIONS

Alfa Romeo will gain a Jeep Compass-based SUV

Fri, Nov 30 2018

It was reported earlier this week that FCA would invest into its Italian factories to ramp up production at currently underutilized locations. Those plans have now been clarified with official information from FCA, as reported by Automotive News. The entire investment is worth $5.7 billion. First of all, Alfa Romeo will gain a new compact SUV based on the Jeep Compass architecture. The still-unnamed model will be available as a plug-in hybrid, and it will be built in Pomigliano, Italy. No U.S. availability has yet been announced, but it would not be odd to see the Compass-based model sold below the Stelvio in the States. The last time Alfa Romeo had anything similar in its model portfolio was when it offered Crosswagon-badged four-wheel-drive versions of the 156 and 159 wagons. As for the Jeep Compass itself, it will begin to be built at the Melfi plant in Italy. The rumored small "baby" Jeep slotting under the Renegade has not yet been officially mentioned. Fiat will introduce a battery electric 500, built in Turin, and the Pomigliano plant that will make the compact Alfa Romeo SUV will also be used to build a mild hybrid version of the Panda city car. The 500X will gain a PHEV variant. The Stelvio platform will also spawn a corresponding SUV for Maserati, and FCA also mentioned Maserati will introduce a new, unnamed model it will make in Modena. Automotive News quotes Italian press as saying this will be the Alfieri coupe and convertible, also offered as battery electric versions. Related Video:

Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487

Thu, Sep 8 2016

This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia. And then Mike (who is still uncomfortable writing in the third person) goes on a rant about why automakers shouldn't specify which cars are aimed at women. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. WWII Jeep 'found in crate' set to cross Greenwich auction block

Thu, 30 May 2013

Fans of old military vehicles might want to pay extra close attention to the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance coming up this weekend. Crossing the Bonhams auction block on Sunday are a pair of seemingly flawless World War II Jeeps, which are both expected to fetch serious dollars.
Lot Number 305 at the auction is a 1945 Ford GPW Jeep that has been fully restored, which is expected to command between $35,000 and $45,000. Shortly after the Ford GPW, a potentially more interesting 1944 Willys MB (shown above) will be auctioned off, but Hemmings raises some red flags about this Jeep. First, it is claiming to have been "discovered in its original crate about 30 years ago," but there is no proof or documentation of any sort. Also, it is claiming to be all original, but it was given a paint job "shortly after it was discovered." Even with these questionable descriptions, this Willys could reach between $20,000 and $30,000. Head over to Bonhams' site and Hemmings for more information on both WW2-era Jeeps.
