This 1984 Jeep Laredo CJ 7 which spent its whole life in SoCal and has original paint, absolutely no rust issues and original miles. It is a Turn Key Jeep, jump in and drive home, the jeep was always garaged!
Engine:
6 cylinder original motor that starts right up, sounds amazing, runs flawless and very powerful. No leaks. The motor sounds amazing, it idles perfect and has plenty of power. This motor is awesome and does not smoke.
Transmission:
5 speed Manual transmission that shifts perfect without any grinding, popping or whining. 4x4 works fine but I've not had it out in the sand dunes or mudding The 5-speed transmission and clutch shift perfectly and the jeep stops on a dime.
Suspension:
It has 2" lift. The Jeep drives great.
Body:
Body is in great condition and original. There is absolutely no rust on this Jeep. It does have NO rust on the underbody/undercarriage, interior floors and a nothing on the windshield frame. It has almost NO scratches and blemishes What is unbelievable for a 29 year old Jeep. The front bumper and grill is like new.
Paint: The exterior is original color Black and looks great, you can still see the factory rivet marks and the natural "waves" that the jeep had when it was born. Jeep comes with original hard top and hard doors.
The original paint is very shiny, reflective and shows like new. The decals are like new.
Hardtop:
Factory original hardtop No cracks, cuts or damages.
Interior Gauges/switches: The interior is completely original Brown with dark Brown lining, It does not have a rip, stain or color discoloration.
The Heater blows warm and all blinkers, horn, switches, gauges work without problems. Stereo turns on with 4 speakers The door windows easily roll up and down. The original dash pad there.

Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).

Jeep has got you covered. We can say this without even having to know what it is you want, because there's hardly an option or configuration that you won't find in the 2014 Grand Cherokee. There are three different engines, three different four-wheel-drive systems (plus rear-wheel drive), four different trim levels - not counting SRT - two different suspension setups and five different settings for various off-road terrain conditions. If you happen to check the box for Quadra-Lift, you'll also have five different ride-height settings for the driver-selectable air suspension.
As you might expect with so many customization possibilities, the way a buyer checks the options sheet can have a profound effect on the final product and its capabilities, to say nothing of its price. Nowhere is that more true than with the Grand Cherokee's choice of engines, with the brand-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 stealing the spotlight from the still excellent gasoline-fueled 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerplants that carry over from last year. No matter which engine you choose, though, it will be paired up with Jeep's new standard eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This, ladies and gentlemen, is very good news indeed.
