You are bidding on a SUPER CLEAN 1983 jeep Cj7, 4.2 Fuel Injected W/TFI upgrade MSD ignition System

I have owned this Jeep for the past few years, it was originally owned by a elderly couple that towed it around the united states behind their RV (TIS THE HIGH MILAGE), it mainly stayed in Arizona and some summers in colorado. Since i have owned it i have put well over $2,500 in the Fuel & Ignition system alone, this upgrade has helped me get 20+ mpg here in Colorado @ 6,200 elevation, its purpose was mainly for enjoying the outdoors, mountain rides, fishing/hunting and a daily commuter.

This Jeep is all original 4.2 liter, T-5 5 Speed transmission, dana 300 transfer case, body with ZERO rust along the body shell but has minor small surface rust on driver floor board, it has the patina faded Slate Blue paint and stripes from factory, original factory blue seats, white hard top, white wagon wheel rims, chrome hub caps, build sheet under passenger seat, tire carrier, tale gate, tire iron and jack in its stock location, Original Full metal doors with crank windows, 2 set of keys 1 pair is the original AMC set, all the lock's, windows, gauges are in working order.

Chrysler Recalls 350K Vehicles To Fix Ignition Switches

Chrysler is recalling nearly 350,000 cars and SUVs to fix ignition switches that could unexpectedly shut off the engines. The recall covers 2008 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger sedans, and Dodge Magnum wagons. All were built before May 12, 2008. Chrysler says the ignitions may not fully return to the "on" position after being started. The switches could move to "accessory" or "off." That could shut off the engine and knock out power-assisted steering and other features. Chrysler knows of one crash and no injuries from the problem. It's telling people to use the key alone in the ignition and confirm that switches have returned to "on" after starting their cars. Chrysler is investigating the cause. Jeep follows up Super Bowl spot with call to help the USO

Once again, Chrysler had one of the most talked about Super Bowl commercials with its two-minute Whole Again Jeep spot, which was used to highlight its Operation SAFE Return program for US military personnel returning home from active duty. As part of this campaign, Jeep announced today that it will be donating up to $300,000 to the United Services Organizations (USO), and you can help.
Simply tweet using the #joinOSR hashtag on Twitter, visit the Yahoo! homepage or go to the Jeep Operation SAFE Return website, and Jeep will donate $1 to a fund that provides returning troops things like employment assistance and incentives to buy new vehicles. Jeep is also donating to this charity to the tune of $250 for each Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited (including the Freedom Edition model) and Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition model sold.

Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris

Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
