1982 Jeep Scrambler Cj-8 (super Nice!!! on 2040-cars
LaGrange, Georgia, United States
I bought this Scrambler a few months back and i must say it's probably the cleanest & nicest ones you will find! I was gonna add some rear seat and keep it because i have two kids but i really don't want to hurt the originally. So that being said i am selling it to by a TJ so the fam can enjoy it. When i purchased it it had only a bikini top so i found the half hardtop along with the wooden rails and the original rocker panels which i might add was not cheap. The top had been sitting for a while and i did my best to make it look nice. The Scrambler has always been in the south mainly TN and GA so there is no rust that i can see. The only bad spot is in the back rear qtr panel which is flaking but i think thats due to a half way paint job. The guy i bought it from did the Weber carb conversion so that was about a grand. I replaced the rear main seal and put a brand new exhaust on it so it sounds nice. The only issue with the Jeep is that 1st and 2nd gear is a little notchy but after it warms up its fine. The previous owner said it was the synchronizers but like i said after it warms up its fine and 3rd 4th & Reverse is perfect. The tires are like new and there are steel doors with it. I stripped the black overlay on them and i bought the new ones to replace them but just have not had the time. Also you will get new outer door handles. The tubular doors will not come with it but you are more than welcome to purchase them for what i paid for them. Short summary 82 Scrambler with 258 4-speed no ac all gauges work "oil gauge acts crazy sometimes" less than 100,000 miles on it. Any questions feel free to give me a call 706-386-7749. Going to put more pics on here tomorrow.

North Carolina driver charged for flattening Trump sign
Thu, Mar 17 2016Police in Wilmington, NC are investigating a viral video that shows a local man driving off the road to run over a Trump for President campaign sign. Julien Schuessler of Wilmington posted a video to Facebook on March 15 showing him driving his white Jeep off the road in a reckless manner to smash a Trump sign. He captioned the video, "I love having a Jeep sometimes." The video immediately went viral, reaching nearly a million views and 25,000 shares in less than twenty-four hours. Any elation Schuessler may have felt at having his video go viral was short lived, though. According to WWAY, Wilmington Police were tipped off to the existence of the video on the afternoon of March 16. They were, understandably, less than pleased. In an official tweet, WPD stated that they were aware of the video and were investigating. A spokesperson for the WPD stated that Schuessler faces multiple charges for his little stunt, including hit and run, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane control. WWAY reached out to Schuessler for comment, but he has declined to respond.
