This is a one of a kind bobbed Jeep Scrambler. It is almost entirely new parts. The Jeep has a powerful remanufactured cummins 4bt turbo-diesel with an upgraded fuel pin and governor spring. It puts power to ground through a built TH400 three speed automatic, an atlas 2 transfercase, and a full float dana 60 rear axle with an electric locker. The front axle is a dana 44 with an electric locker. Both axles have disc brakes and 3.73 gears. This Jeep will cruise down the highway at 60 mph and crawl with the best of them. It's got a custom aqualu aluminum tub with line-x inside and underneath and a custom six point roll cage which is mounted to a custom matkins extreme Jeep frame. This Jeep will stop on a dime with hydroboost brakes and you can steer it with one finger. Everything on this Jeep works like a dream. It's got a milemarker hydraulic winch, nitto mud grappler tires, and 5 H2 8 lug wheels. There is countless hours and money invested in this Jeep. It would cost $40,000 in parts alone (not counting any labor) to duplicate this thing. This is totally custom and way better than anything that ever rolled off the assembly line. This Jeep has all the essentials including a soft top, wipers, heat, suspension seats, working gauges, working lights, optima battery, fuel cell, custom metal half doors, frame integrated bumpers, and a ton of torque off the line.
This Jeep does not have air conditioning, a hard top, or a radio. If you are looking for any of those luxuries I would recommend buying a TJ or a JK.
I am not looking for any trades at all.

Chrysler expecting up to 200,000 9-speed transmissions for 3 models this year
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Striving for improved fuel economy, we already knew that Chrysler will begin using a nine-speed automatic transmission in some of its new products this year, but what we haven't known is that volume at which this gearbox will be used. According to Bloomberg, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has been quoted as saying that the automaker expects to sell close to 200,000 units equipped with this new transmission in 2013. Those gear-rich trannies will be spread out across three models, consisting of the redesigned Chrysler 200, the still-unnamed Jeep Liberty replacement and the Dodge Dart.
This transmission should play a pivotal role in making Chrysler vehicles more competitive in their respective segments. Just for comparison, one of the Dart's key competitors, the Toyota Corolla, still uses a four-speed automatic, and a previous report indicates that the next-generation 200 could get up to 38 miles per gallon on the highway, which is better than most non-hybrid midsize sedans on the market. Marchionne says that the new Jeep model is expected during the second quarter of this year, but there is no word as to when the new 200 or nine-speed Dart will debut, but clearly Dodge would like to have the transmission in its compact yesterday. As for that volume figure, it definitely doesn't seem out of reach since the Dart, Liberty and 200 combined for a total of more than 225,000 units in 2012.
How many more gears can we expect in future cars? Probably not many more, since the CEO of transmission-builder ZF, Stefan Sommer, previously stated that nine speeds was the "natural limit" for transmissions.
Jeep bringing Renegade Hard Steel with adorable matching trailer to Geneva
Sun, Mar 1 2015Trailers are hardly an uncommon site. They can, after all, be an effective way of adding cargo capacity when you need to haul more than you can fit in your car and truck. But there's something that just gets us about trailers made to match the vehicle behind which they're being towed. Like this one, attached to this unique Jeep Renegade. Set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show mere days from now, the Renegade Hard Steel concept is a joint effort between various elements of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group, including Jeep, Mopar and the FCA Style Centre. It's based on the Trailhawk off-road model, but is distinguished by its unique metallic finish, offset by matte black trim and a full raft of available and custom Mopar accessories. Though Jeep has yet to show us what it looks like inside, it's said to have a specially coated leather finish. And of course there's that trailer. Designed to mimic the Renegade's rear-end styling, the appendage will be used on the floor of the Geneva Palexpo to showcase the vehicle's Uconnect Live infotainment system through an oversized pop-up touchscreen display that mirrors the new 5- or 6.5-inch display that'll soon be available on the littlest of Jeeps, offering streaming content including music, news, social media and traffic conditions. We have no indication that a similar trailer could be going into production (minus, of course, the infotainment stuff), but it's worth noting that Jeep has indeed done something similar before. Feel free to read more in the press release, below. Created by the Jeep brand, in collaboration with the Mopar brand and backed by the FCA Style Centre, the showcar "explores" the potential of a model that provides countless customization options, while also providing an outlook for potential future Mopar accessories dedicated to the new Renegade. Based on the Trailhawk - the off-road version of the range - the prototype is not a simple customisation in aftermarket but a design project that, with due respect to the peculiarities of original models, has led us to the creation of a unique and fascinating article.
