Up for sale is a 1969 Jeep CJ5,New fiberglass body, has a metal hood, V6, 3 speed with 24,000 miles, headers with dual exhaust, rebuilt carburetor, Lockout hubs, new seats with seat belts, heater, all new rubber around glass, 6 1/2 ft. hydraulic snow plow, Jeep origionally was used by a farmer to plow his driveway, and to occasionally to pull a wagon, hence the low miles and before the new body was put on, the under carriage and drive train was restored. Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.

I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
