The exterior of this Jaguar is in good overall shape. The body looks straight
and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it
does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires will need to be
replaced sooner than later. There are no
cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear,
rock chips, etc. It has the typical
scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are
consistent with age and use on a 1999 convertible, but it still has an overall
nice look.

The interior of this XK8 is in overall good shape. The leather
looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and
there. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show
some blems. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look
to it. The light covers on the drivers side visor are
missing. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while
taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there
is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc.
that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall
good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care

This V8 starts right up and
idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight
down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected,
serviced and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever
you need. |

Successful bidder must
contact us within 2 days of the close of the auction, and must
submit a deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction
end. Remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days of the close of
the auction. We accept Paypal and Credit Cards - Master
Card, Discover, Visa, Debit-Cards - FOR DEPOSITS ONLY.
For payment of balance, we accept Bank Loan checks, Wire
Transfers, Money Orders,/ Cashiers Checks, Company Checks, and
Cash. Personal checks will be accepted if arrangements are
made in advance. We are happy to work with your bank if you are
getting your own financing. We do not take Credit

Delivery/Shipping |

You have two major options
for delivery. You can either have it shipped, which we can
help arrange, or you can pick up the vehicle here at our location.
We regularly pick up people at Denver International Airport (DEN)
free of charge and bring them to the lot for pickup, as long as
you fly in during our business hours. The airport is about 35
minutes from our store, and is about a $100 taxi fare.
We provide a 60 day
temporary permit for every vehicle. This is like a 2-month license
plate.
We regularly use a shipping
company called Diamond Express Transportation. We have shipped
several hundred vehicles with them without a single problem over
the last 8 years. Feel free to call Shawn or

depending on the size of the vehicle and the distance. We'd be

have one bank that will finance out of state, but prefer you use

taxes. For Colorado residents, we have to collect State tax,
and any other applicable taxes, costs, etc.

vehicle shipped to you, we cannot release it for shipping until we
have all the State forms/Dealer forms signed and returned, and the
vehicle is paid in full.

While complaints about infotainment systems remain a thorn in the side of automakers for J.D. Power's annual Initial Quality Study, there's a lot to celebrate this year. The average number of problems reported per 100 vehicles fell to 112 in 2015 – a three-percent improvement compared to 116 in 2014. The results of this year's survey are based on the responses of over 84,000 people about problems within the first 90 days of buying or leasing a 2015 model-year vehicle. For the third consecutive year, Porsche tops the rankings with an average of 80 problems per 100 vehicles. Although, that's slightly more than the 74 the German sportscar maker scored in 2014. "While the Japanese automakers continue to make improvements, we're seeing other brands, most notably Korean makes, really accelerating the rate of improvement," Renee Stephens, vice president of US automotive quality at J.D. Power, said in the study's release. In fact, Kia ranks as one of the biggest movers in this year's list. The Korean brand jumped to second place from seventh last year. The company had an average of 86 problems per 100 vehicles, a 20-point improvement. Third place went to Jaguar with an average of 93 problems reported, versus last year's second-place finish with 87 of them. Fourth place was Hyundai, and fifth-place Infiniti also earned a gold star for improvement with 97 issues per 100 vehicles – 31-points better than last year. Fiat still anchored the bottom of the list. However, its 161 problems this year is a lot better than the 206 in 2014. Ranked by nationality, Korean brands (Hyundai and Kia) are now leading the industry in initial quality with an average of 90 problems reported per 100 vehicles. According to J.D. Power, this is the first time Europe's figure beat Japan with 113 and 114 issues, respectively. The American brands also averaged 114. Whereas General Motors dominated last year, the segment awards are spread out in 2015. GM, Hyundai, Nissan, and Volkswagen Group are all tied with four models each earning prizes. Sometimes procrastination has its benefits. Jaguar originally planned to build a run of 18 E-Type Lightweights for racing in the '60s. However, it was only ever to complete 12 of them. It has taken all of the intervening decades to finally get back to the project and build the final run of new Lightweights. While Jag announced the plan recently, the first continuation model was unveiled during the Pebble Beach weekend.
Coming from Jaguar Land Rover's Special Operations unit, these cars are identical to the way they left the factory in the '60s. Jag is even using the same grade of aluminum for the bodies, and the cars are fully compliant for FIA historic racing. Power comes from an aluminum, 3.8-liter inline-six with about 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque routed through a four-speed manual gearbox. Who could guess that in 2014 someone could buy a brand new vehicle from a major manufacturer that comes with Weber carbs? Though, Lucas mechanical fuel injection is an option.
While they look old, these new E-types are also a wonder of modern technology. To get things just right, the company laser scanned an original car to create the new bodies. Check out the gallery from the unveiling to see this old cat on the prowl again.

Jaguar is in the midst of a product offensive, rolling out the new XE and XF sedans while preparing the upcoming F-Pace crossover. But it's not about to sit on its leather-upholstered laurels. According to Motor Trend, the British automaker has a slew of projects in the cooker. For starters, there will reportedly be more versions of the flexible new Ingenium engine family. The lineup is being launched with gasoline and diesel four-cylinder engines, but is tipped to breed smaller three-cylinder versions as well to slot into a variety of Jaguar and Land Rover models. More intriguing, however, is the suggestion that Coventry is planning to replace its long-serving 3.0-liter supercharged V6 with a new straight six engine that could go turbocharged – which would make some sense out of the 35t moniker being worn by the supercharged XE. Of course Jaguar is going to need some new vehicles to slot those engines into, and MT suggests there are several possibilities under consideration (if not actual current development). The XE could breed wagon, coupe and convertible versions, as well as an SVR variant to take on the the BMW M4, Cadillac ATS-V et al. If the F-Pace proves a success, it could lead to larger and smaller crossovers in the future. The next XK is tipped to grow larger and go up-market. There, it would compete with the likes of the Bentley Continental GT, Rolls-Royce Wraith and Mercedes S-Class Coupe, while steering clear of the smaller F-Type. Related Video:
