Jaguar F-Pace snapped inside and out

We've seen the Jaguar F-Pace undergoing testing before: at the Nurburgring, in the snow, and wearing a variety of different bodywork as development has progressed. But we've never seen it this close, and we've never seen it inside, until now. This latest batch of spy shots shows Coventry's new crossover out on the road undergoing warm-weather testing in what looks like Spain. It's tellingly parked in between a Jaguar XE and Range Rover Evoque, the gap between which the F-Pace is expected to bridge. It's still wearing heavy camouflage, of course, but this is our first glimpse inside the cockpit. The cabin rather similar to the one on the new XF sedan – and hardly any more upright, either, which tells us a bit about the handling character Jaguar is going after with the F-Pace. Expect to see the finished product at the Frankfurt Motor Show this coming fall – the same show where it unveiled the C-X17 concept two years ago to preview its arrival. Related Video:

Jaguar C-X75 and Aston Martin DB10 spied drifting during Spectre shoot

Based on the cars alone, the 24th James Bond film, Spectre, is set to be one of the biggest and most impressive in the long-lived franchise. While we're stuck waiting until November to see the automotive extravaganza on the big screen, a lucky bystander managed to catch two of the movie's four-wheeled stars filming on the streets of Rome. Italian YouTuber Marchettino, well known for his videos from Ferrari's Fiorano test track, caught the video of the Aston Martin DB10 and Jaguar C-X75 filming in the dark of the Roman night, with the Aston sliding its way around a turn and the Jag giving chase. Not surprisingly, the DB10's Vantage-derived V8 features prominently. This is, of course, not the first time news regarding this chase scene has graced our digital pages. Spectre star Daniel Craig sustained a minor injury in the course of this filming, after the DB10 he was riding in hit a pretty significant pothole. We've also caught 007's Aston filming in the UK. Jaguar Land Rover building new Special Vehicle Operations facility

It's only been a couple of months since Jaguar Land Rover announced the formation of its new Special Operations division, and we've already seen a number of vehicles to come out of it. But now the British automaker has announced a new facility that will house its elite skunkworks department.
Set to be built at Prologis Park in Ryton, England, on the outskirts of Coventry, the new Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre will encompass dedicated production lines, F1-style flexible workshops, a dedicated paint studio and VIP suite for commissioning bespoke projects. JLR will spend some $33 million on the facility that will be home to 150 specialists - 100 of them being new hires.
The first project which the Special Operations division is working on is the F-Type Project 7, but we've already seen more projects in the pipeline - including the upcoming Range Rover Sport SVR - and you can bet there'll be more. The revival of the Lightweight E-Type also falls under Special Operations, but is undertaken by the Jaguar Heritage department located nearby at Browns Lane.
