This is a very nice 1994 Jaguar. Over $5000 spent in last year on repairs. The car was originally purchased locally at the St Petersburg Jaguar dealership. It spent most of its life in Texas. My friend purchased this a car a few years ago from an individual from Texas. The car was sitting in a garage for over 6 years. After the
car was shipped to Florida, the car went to the shop and the following was completed: new water pump, lube and oil, complete tune up with new plugs and distributor, transmission filter kit, checked brakes, all injectors cleaned, 12 new seals, 3 new hoses, flushed radiator, repaired leak in hydraulics for the convertible.
Unfortunately, my friend never had the opportunity to drive. He passed shortly after the repairs were completed. He wanted to paint the car and possibly restore the car. The car had been sitting in his garage since Aug of 2012. His wife finally asked me to help sell the car. The car would not start due to the length of time in
garage. So I transported the car to the St Pete Jaguar to have complete inspection. We replaced the battery. re-tuned the car. lube and oil, replaced a window switch, replaced transmission mount and bushings. replaced the undertray and air tubes, A/C blower motor, and new wipers. The car also has newer tires. I have
driven the car for a few days on the freeway and around town and car is safe and drives good. There were five things that will need to be repaired down the road, but nothing immediately. (listed above) The car is nice for a 20 year old car. The wheels are pitting, the paint shows well, but is cracking and needs to be painted.
The interior is good shape as well with no cracks nor rips, but shows wear. This would be a great car to restore if you had the time and $$. The widow would like to sell ASAP! so please make reasonable offer. good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Jaguar planning two bodystyles for next XJ
Wed, 17 Apr 2013As we alluded to in today's F-Type first drive, Jaguar hasn't been selling its wares in China for very long, and as a result, buyers there usually don't have the same appreciation for the brand's history. So you might reasonably think that the company's recent radical styling shift (kicked off by the 2008 XF) wouldn't be as jarring to the nation's buying populace since they really didn't have the automaker's more traditionally styled models from years past to compare them against.
Yet while Jaguar and its sister marque, Land Rover, continue to pick up steam in China's developing market, that apparently isn't necessarily the case. Local buyers there tend to have more conservative tastes when it comes to styling, preferring more upright dimensions, big back seats and larger quantities of traditional luxury materials (think: chrome and wood) than other markets currently find desirable. Thus, the very bold current-generation XJ sedan may be leaving some sales on the table.
According to Edmunds, Jag doesn't want to risk that, and as such, it is preparing two bodystyles for the next-generation XJ - one with the rakish coupe-like styling of the current model, and a more "old-school" three-box sedan designed to appeal to a wider swath of Chinese buyers.
This is how we'd spec a Jaguar F-Pace
Tue, Sep 22 2015The configurator hitting the web is an exciting time in a new model's launch. Even if you don't have the cash to buy that sweet new ride, clicking through the options offers a chance to dream. Since we enjoy these stories so much, the Autoblog team is trying out something a little different for the new Jaguar F-Pace. Rather than describing all the stuff you can find on the page, some of our writers are going to show you how they'd spec out Jag's first crossover. Let us know how you like the new format in Comments, below. CHRIS BRUCE: I had an attractive, fairly affordable F-Pace Prestige ready, until the options list tempted me into an extra $5,000 in features. The final price of $56,255 doesn't seem too bad, though. While the diesel engine is probably quite nice, it's extremely hard not to pick the supercharged V6 with its intoxicating sound and 340 hp. Mine also includes the black trim package ($320), deleting the powertrain badge ($0), Adaptive Dynamics Pack ($1,000), Vision Pack ($2,000), and Head-up Display ($990). The British Racing Green paint ($550) and aluminum interior trim ($300) add a little more to the bottom line but are worth it for the extra style. GREG MIGLIORE: I shamelessly loaded mine up with options, let's just get that out of the way. But the F-Pace offers a lot of cool stuff, and the $400 activity security key is worth it for active lifestyles. I went with the silver paint and black 22s because I'd want my grocery-getter to have some attitude, and I think the pairing makes for a sinister yet tasteful appearance. Naturally, I'd want the 380-hp V6. It's a Jag. I want it to purr. SEYTH MIERSMA: If I'm throwing down on an F-Pace, I've already decided that I'm not going the thrifty route for my new crossover. Still, I don't see any particular advantage to the most-sporting version. The 340-hp gas-powered Jag will do just fine. Middle of the road then: F-Pace Prestige has the Xenons, heated seats, and steering wheel, and navigation that'd I'd add to a lesser model. And it looks hilariously disrespectful in this BRG paint with 20-inch black wheels. Jeremy Korzeniewski: The F-Pace is a Jaguar, and that means it can be both sporty and luxurious at the same time. But that doesn't mean it can't also be efficient. To that end, I chose to eschew the powerful gasoline engine options and instead spec my fictional F-Pace with a diesel.

Wed, 15 May 2013With its new "Your Turn" global ad campaign, Jaguar has introduced its 2014 F-Type to the world of broadcast media. The effort takes aim at the monied 25-54 demographic, which makes sense of Jaguar recently shacking up with the 2013 Playboy Playmate of the Year Raquel Pomplun and San Francisco NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. You'll also be seeing the new roadster on ESPN's SportsCenter, late night ABC talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, the USA Network show Covert Affairs, the Sundance Channel and theaters, magazines and everywhere digital. On top of all that, a social media campaign includes a contest called #MyTurnToJag that will reward four winners with a custom drive in the new convertible.
