Only one rust spot starting size of pencil eraser. low miles. tires are old and dry rotted. engine runs with miss (new injectors included). for enthusiast."

I have owned this V12 Jaguar coupe for about 10 years and have never done anything with it. Stored indoors engine is now running with miss.  I think the injectors need replacing and a full set of 12 (expensive) injectors come with the car. also the injector wire harness is old and will need rewiring. I have acquired some teflon covered wire and new plugs for the injectors to rewire the harness. This car fires 6 injectors at a time (not sequential like modern systems) so the wiring is not too teribly complicated.  I have a dozen cars and this one has just not gotten to the front of the line so I have decided to cut it loose.

Sheepskin seat covers cover seats with only splits in teh pleated seems, the leather is not torn, jsut the seems.

Radio was stolen, I do have replacement bezel included.  also spare dash panels as some have the vinal cover peeling a little.  I put new hood struts on a couple years ago.

I have stored this car indoors most of the time I have owned it. It was originally a California car and has NO rus underneath and only onw small spot (shown in picture) on the body (no hole jsut a blister about 1/4 inch diameter) starting.

Please do not buy this car to put a chevy  v8 in it. (well do it but don't tell me). the V12 ran silky smooth before the injector harness got bad.

these cars are real sleepers on the market, they are great looking and feature the legendary Jaguar IRS.

Car can be inspected, will run enough to load.  Gas is very old but I did put in some additives. Includes 12 new injectors (about a $1000 value) new connectors and some teflon coated wire to repair the harness.

This car deserves to get on the road again. Selling at NO RESERVE!  Ask Questions before bidding!  I have perfect feedback since 1998 and want to keep it that way. This is a project car but very solid car to start with. Only problem I know of when it was running and driving is sometimes the trans would dump a lot of fluid when shut down, other times it wouldn't. It is a GM Turbo hydro 400 (I think, might be 350). so easy to get serviced.

Bank wire or cash at pickup gets immediate release.  All forms of paper payment (including cashier check) require 2 weeks after payment recieved, so personal check is as good as cashier check.

Jaguar Land Rover rescues British off-road tuner Bowler

Wed, Dec 18 2019

Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicles Operation (SVO) rescued British off-road tuner Bowler from an uncertain fate. The firm has worked with Land Rover in the past, but it has always been independent. While JLR isn't in an ideal position to make acquisitions, and its recent financial troubles are well documented, Bowler was on the brink of shutting down. The small, 34-year old company had entered administration, and the 26 people it employed risked losing their jobs. Monetary details haven't been released, meaning we don't know how much Bowler was worth, but the firm pointed out it's now fully owned by SVO. It joins SV, Vehicle Personalization, and Classic as the division's fourth pillar. It's too early to tell precisely where Bowler will fit in the JLR latticework, because the initial focus will be on stabilizing the company. It will remain based in Belper, England, and every member of its full-time staff has been offered a position as a JLR employee. Bowler made a name for itself by turning the original Defender into a rally car, and Land Rover said the expertise it acquired during decades of racing is highly sought after, so that's a hint we'll see more hardcore models developed jointly by the two companies sooner or later. The new Defender would lend itself well to the Bowler treatment. The Bowler name could replace the SVX nameplate used on the stillborn, V8-powered Discovery, for example. The tuner's focus on off-pavement performance means we're unlikely to see a Bowler-badged Jaguar, but anything is possible as global demand for SUVs (especially quick ones) continues to rise. What's certain is that, once Bowler is stable, it will grow bigger.

Jaguar confirms 575-hp F-Type Project 7 for Goodwood debut

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Two days ago, Jaguar announced it had something special in store for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Then yesterday images of that special creation, the F-Type Project 7, leaked out. And now, as promised, Coventry has released the full details on the ultimate F-Type to date. And its even better than we expected.
The production version of the concept revealed last year, the F-Type Project 7 celebrates the 60th anniversary of the D-Type by borrowing some of that legendary roadster's design cues, right down to the rear fin and British Racing Green livery with white racing stripes.
Of course the Project 7 is more than just a retro appearance package. The bespoke speedster packs a version of Jaguar's prolific 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 575 horsepower - 25 more than the F-Type R Coupe - to make it the Leaping Cat marque's most powerful production car to date. Mated to Coventry's familiar eight-speed automatic transmission, that's said to be enough to propel the Project 7 to 60 in 3.8 seconds en route to an electronically limited top speed of 186 miles per hour. Keeping all that power and pace in check and on the road are such features as carbon ceramic brakes, a full complement of carbon-fiber aero components, electronic differential and brake-based torque vectoring system.

Jaguar XFR-S is motor-porn on a mountain road

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S might have only been good enough to take the runner-up spot in our Editor's Choice top five debuts at the LA Auto Show, but we'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more exhilarating exhaust note. As proof of this, Jaguar released a video showing the XFR-S tearing up a windy, European mountain road in close to a minute of hardcore driving footage.
The big blue cat has the same great exhaust note of the XKR-S, and the driver puts all of the car's 550 horsepower to work demonstrating the handling - and drifting - abilities of the new XFR-S. If there's any disappointment to be had, it's the fact that you have to jump to the 30-second mark of the video for any of the action to start.
Scroll down to watch the video, and be sure your speakers are turned all the way up.
