I am selling my 2001 Jaguar XJR, This is an ultra rare car in extraordinary condition. It was a Florida car that I recently drove to NY, so no rust! It shines and performs like new. No leaks.

This car is elegant, fun to drive, comfortable, and in really really good condition. It always starts and runs flawlessly. The recent maintenance includes, valve cover gasket, intake, and supercharger gaskets. There is tons of life left in this car. Clearly it was well maintained. It was just NYS inspected and there were no issues.

The tires passed inspection but if I were keeping it, I would replace them. The only minor cosmetic flaw that you can barely notice on the interior is a scratch in the leather of the driver's seat. The outside has minor usual wear and tear. This is about as nice as you will find a car of this vintage.

Everything works as it should. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heat is scalding hot.

Loaded with heated seats (front and rear), home link, sunroof, wood steering wheel with cruise control and sound system controls, navigation, and more.

I am willing to drive the car to Jaguar or your local mechanic of choice for a prepurchase inspection.

2014 Jaguar F-Type, Project 7 Concept snarl in Jay Leno's Garage

Jay Leno gets to drive a lot of nice cars, and the Jaguar F-Type V8 S he pilots in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage is no exception. Eric Johnson, vice president of Jaguar Western Region brought the car to Leno's garage, which impresses the comedian with its 5.0-liter V8 that makes 495 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and a muscle car-like roar.
But there's a surprise this episode: Leno secured a drive in the Project 7 Concept at Pebble Beach this year, and the experience was caught on video. Based on the F-Type, the Project 7 is a functional concept car that nods to Jaguar's seven wins at Le Mans and features bespoke styling cues, a special exhaust system and, perhaps most importantly, 50 more horsepower from the supercharged V8.

Jaguar recalling XK Convertible and XF 2.0T sedan for unrelated issues

Jaguar has announced that it will be recalling 1,989 XK Convertibles produced between October 1, 2010 and August 1, 2013. Model years ranging from 2011 to 2014 are part of the recall.
The issue has to do with one of the switches the switch that controls the opening and closing of the convertible top. The switch also has to do with the operation of the power windows. According to the Feds, the switch doesn't move down to close the power windows, meaning that the window could accidentally close on the finger or arm of an inattentive person.
In related news, Jaguar is also recalling 940 2013 XF sedans powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for a hose that can detach underhood, which could cause the engine to stall or could leave the driver without power steering or brakes.
