Jaguar XJ6 with Slant 6 engine from Arizona (never salted)

Here we have up for your consideration this super clean 85 Jaguar XJ6 with transplant engine/trans Mopar Slant 6. When I lived in So Cal this car would not be that unusual but
here in the Mid West it is...Everything here in Wisconsin is really Rusty Crusty! So if you want a rust free car then this auction is for you.Ever think about jumping on a Plane and going to get a rust free car..I have! What's that worth for a project car that has a good base to start with..The original engine is
gone and replaced with the 1980 ish or so Slant 6. The engine has electronic ignition so think it is later. The transmission is also Mopar from what I can see.
I registered the car to make sure there was no problems..I have no where to store it so it has to move to the next owner. When I bought it the brakes where
gone and was told it was a line but after inspecting how truly rust free this car was I looked elsewhere and it turned out to be the master cylinder tank.It has brakes now
but does not stop great..I think the calipers are not working like they should..I will have to add that it was a pleasure to bleed a car brakes when they came right loose because of the no salt on car thing...It was nice! All window glass seems to have no cracks in...etc.The car sat for a long long time at a local restaurant stranded.  I think they drove this car from Arizonato Wisconsin so that is kinda amazing in it self. Most everything crucial seems to work. Electric windows even work. Sunroof is stuck and does not work. Engine runs good and it drives ok. The power steering line had a pin hole and leaked so going to cut it and spice it back together. Brake lights where not working and it ended up being a switch. I bought it off eBay. Speedometer is not hooked up by transmission ..I looked!
I think the door panels must have been replaced because they are too nice..Seats are ok but have a tear here and there...Seat covers will fix it.
Carpet is nice and doors shut really really nice. I'm not sure of actual miles on car since speedo is not hooked up. The oil pressure gauge is working and think the alternator.
The temp sensor gauge is not. I think the engine and trans are solid ..just as a side note.I was told the engine was out of a truck but that has not been confirmed.
The engine numbers are under a bracket and have been lazy..

I will make a Video of the car and post to youtube and post link of the car running and so on...!

Let me know if you have interest...You need to be a Mechanical person and enjoy working on cars to own this!

The car is located in Manitowoc ,WI 54220

Call 920-320-9192 and leave message with your number if you have Questions!

I would find a way to transport this car and get it in your neighborhood to work out any glitches...I drove it around the big block a few times and ran out good but who knows...If you are determined to drive this somewhere far I guess I can go through everything but you will have to pay extra..It is a option I guess!

Jaguar Land Rover offers (some) detail about new Ingenium engine

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Jaguar Land Rover officially announced its Ingenium family of engines with the unveiling of the 2.0-liter version in the Jaguar XE concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but it kept details very thin at the time. All we knew was that the new turbocharged mills could be configured to use gasoline or diesel, and be positioned longitudinally or transversely. Months later, JLR is finally letting some more info slip about its new baby, but there are still some big questions to be answered.
For the Ingenium project, Jaguar Land Rover gave its engineers a clean sheet of paper and told them not to worry about using any previous parts or machinery. In the end, the designers came up with a family of turbocharged, aluminum-block engines based around modular, 500cc cylinders to allow it to grow or shrink as the market demanded. The layout was also made adaptable enough to incorporate hybrid drivetrains, if needed. "Being configurable and flexible are the two key strands of Ingenium's DNA because we have future-proofed our new engines from the outset," said said Ron Lee, the company's director of Powertrain Engineering.
To maximize efficiency, Jaguar promises that all versions of the Ingenium engines come with computer-controlled, variable oil pumps and water pumps to use only as much energy as needed. They also get direct injection, roller bearings for the cams and stop/start. The diesel version alone has 17 percent less internal friction than the mill it replaces, the company claims. JLR is also promising class-leading figures for Ingenium's torque and horsepower too, but it's not giving away those specs just yet.

Jaguar In Its Purest Form
Jaguar has spent a lot of time, money and engineering effort refocusing itself for the modern world. In 2006, the current XK replaced the former XK8 and introduced a new aluminum-intensive chassis architecture to Jaguar's portfolio, and two years later, the XF whipped up a similar overhaul to its classical styling department.
The next major revision came in 2009, with the introduction of the achingly attractive and completely new XJ sedan, and this step struck us as the biggest improvement yet; not only was Jaguar's flagship built atop a cutting-edge platform, it boasted a newfound sense of style that pointed toward the future while still echoing the brand's storied past. This trend has continued most recently with the two-door F-Type that we've already grown quite fond of.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe proves sexy can't be disguised

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

Jaguar's new F-Type is a pretty potent little pouncer. And while we do love a good roadster, many of us at Autoblog are perhaps more excited about the upcoming hardtop version of Jag's stylish new entry-level sports car. Why? Because even here in heavily camouflaged prototype form, the thing looks really, really good - the sleek roofline blending rather nicely into the F-Type's shapely rump, allowing for better distinction of its pronounced hips over the rear wheel wells.
Mechanically speaking, the F-Type Coupe should be identical to its droptop sibling. That means the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engine lineup should carry over unchanged, though we've heard rumors about a four-cylinder application as well. There's also talk of hotter R, R-S or R-S GT models coming down the pipeline, and based on what we've experienced in things like the XKR-S, we certainly can't deny the allure of such a model.
It's unclear exactly when Jaguar will show the production F-Type Coupe (at the Frankfurt Motor Show, perhaps?), but the car is expected to go on sale sometime in 2014. Check it out in our latest spy gallery, above.
