Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee returns June 19, celebrates with new trailer

A brand new season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on the way - it will involve Seinfeld and comedian Robert Klein going to Sing Sing Correctional Facility in what appears to be a Jaguar Mark II - and the trailer is out now. In addition to Klein there'll be appearances by Sarah Jessica Parker, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari and John Stewart. We don't get to see all the rides, but a Buick Riviera GS gets some airtime and the 1949 Porsche 356/2 Gmund from the segment with Jay Leno makes a cameo. Jaguar Land Rover mulling factory in Georgia?

London's Sunday Times reported last October that Jaguar-Land Rover was sniffing around The South looking for a potential manufacturing site, and was "talking to several southern states." We imagine Georgia was one of them; The Peach State has Kia Motors Manufacturing in West Point, it claims Porsche HQ as a resident, and soon the Mercedes-Benz regional office, too. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has said that Governor Nathan Deal recently took the initiative to fly to the UK to "make prospect calls" with JLR executives about a deal. We don't have any details about the calls, but we'll guess that they involved Deal making a financial case for GA over other states while sipping a cup of tea. It's said that the English luxury maker wants to build a factory here with a 200,000-unit capacity, to take advantage of the same financial efficiencies that have planted other automakers in the US and Mexico; it opened a facility in China last year to build the Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and the Jaguar XE, and is casting eyes over Brazilian and Saudi Arabian soil for other facilities. No timetable has been given for a decision. We should probably call this the Jaguar Fast Pace

Jaguar appears be working on a high-performance R variant of its slinky F-Pace crossover. But, it has done an excellent job of hiding that in these spy shots. There really are no visual indicators that this test car is anything special. The lights, grille openings, and even exhaust all appear to be standard-issue F-Pace. According to the spy photographer, what doesn't come across is the sound of the crossover, which he reports is quite loud, thus this strongly sounds like the F-Pace R. We expect at least 500 horsepower, and the ute could borrow the V8 from the F-Type R, or run a new, tuned-up version of the V6. We would lean toward the F-Type R V8. Since that engine has also been used in the performance version of the XF, which shares other powertrains with the F-Pace, it would likely be the easiest to drop into the crossover. We also aren't sure when this fast-paced F-Pace will come to market, but the wait probably won't be too long.
