Car Runs and Drives Extremely Well. Exterior has various minor scratches, nicks, scuffs, missing trim, and other imperfections throughout the vehicle. Interior is in great shape showing normal wear consistent with the age and mileage. Electrical accessories seem to operate as they should. Engine and Transmission seem to be in very good shape. Air Conditioning is warm, and will probably needed to be recharged. Car is sold with a reconstructed title. Please study the pictures carefully. What you see is what you get. As traded. 2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake is one hot hauler
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Oh look, another super-hot wagon that won't be making its way to the US. Awesome.
Actually, in all honesty, it really is awesome. Meet the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a red-hot (or blue-hot?) version of the rakish XF wagon that originally bowed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. The formula here is pretty much plug-and-play: take the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the XFR-S and shove it in the wagon body, and add all of the necessary visual flair fitting of a properly powerful Jag. The end result is an estate that packs 542 horsepower, 502 pound-feet of torque, and the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour in a scant 4.6 seconds. Meow.
This Jaguar joins a growing segment of ultra-hot wagons in Europe, rounded out by offerings like the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG longroof - the latter of which you can actually buy in North America. Sounds like the sort of comparison test we'd love to facilitate. Guess we'll have to leave that to our friends at Autocar, though.
Jaguar teases E-Pace crossover details - and price under $40K
Wed, Jun 21 2017So it turns out we'll be seeing the fully revealed Jaguar E-Pace much sooner than we expected. Jaguar announced the debut will occur on July 13, so we're less than a month away. The company also provided a teaser of the E-Pace's tail. It shows a fat rear fender and Jaguar's trademark taillight design. While many other companies would be content to release a teaser and nothing else, Jaguar actually provided a number of other interesting details. Among them is the powertrain. It will only be available with gasoline-powered engines and all-wheel drive. We're expecting it to use roughly the same powertrain combinations as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The other big details are pricing and availability. The baby Jaguar SUV starts at $39,595, which is over $3,000 less than the entry-level F-Pace and the Range Rover Evoque. Top Gear season 25 opens with a V8 roadtrip through America
Mon, Feb 26 2018Great news for fans of BBC Top Gear: the first episode of season 25 is here. Viewers of BBC America will catch the season opener on March 3, and for the American audience this episode is definitely suitable watching. The episode has been dedicated to V8 sportscars almost in its entirety, as it's been wrapped around a Western roadtrip with a motorsport bias. The three hosts get to choose three V8 sports cars, with the basic idea of finding the best all-rounder. Matt LeBlanc goes for a Hennessey-tuned GT350R, Rory Reid chooses a Jaguar F-Type SVR, and Chris Harris shakes up the pack by selecting a McLaren 570GT. It's a nicely varied trio, with V8 power still showing what it's good for. There are various challenges along the way, just like there should be on a Top Gear roadtrip episode – even if the road surface itself isn't always ideal. But things smoothen out, all the way to a NASCAR oval and an airport runway; the flooded Bonneville salt flats aren't suitable for shenanigans, so substitutes have to be found. The trio also hit dirt roads, and have to evade a buggy-driving Ken Block during a "moonshine run to the border." Fans of Sabine Schmitz will be pleased to find her piloting a chain car racer, which consists of two American junk cars with a Honda CRX chained in the middle. It must make sense to someone. The Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment has been retained for this season. This time it's the British actor Rob Brydon driving the Toyota GT86, on a very wet lap around the show's Dunsfold Aerodrome track that must be a cult classic by now. All in all, the season 25 opener is exactly what it says on the tin. There's nothing out of the ordinary, but it still has excellent cinematography, V8 roar and some nice landscapes.
