Costa Mesa, California, United States

You are bidding on my 2002 Jaguar X type
2.5 Liter puuuuurs like a kitten
Good life left on the tires
Just detailed
Set of books and records
Two Remote Keys
Clean car inside and out

Two issues to make note of:
1.  The gas cap door cracked and when repaired was not repainted, there is a hairline crack
2. I had the vehicle parked by the beach for a month while out of town and the brake rotors accumulated rust. The ABS light came on, my mechanic said the rust got on the sensor, there is plenty of life left in the brakes.  This car has been well cared for and is ready to go to a new happy home.

Payment Policy: As you can see I have a spectacular sellers rating however I have met some less than enthusiastic buyers. So a $1,000 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and the balance is due within 72 hours of auction close or when you or your shipper pick the vehicle up. Should your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, life partner, kids, grandparents whom support you during the hard times, find out you bid and won without there permission and you sent a deposit... You will also be explaining my clearly explained intentions of spending your deposit on wine women and song to get past my ever growing lack of faith in humanity that people do what they say they will. I have described not only the good (And this car is great) but the bad (Right down to a crack in the fuel door) of this wonderful car in an effort to paint a picture of what you are winning. That being said... happy bidding and I hope you win!

Jaguar F-Type SVR set to go topless

Wed, Aug 19 2015

Jaguar's sultry F-Type convertible will soon be getting sharper claws. We've captured the high-powered SVR variant during track testing, and these spy shots show huge air intakes and a prominent splitter up front. They're balanced at the rear with a massive spoiler and a central diffuser that breaks up the angled, jutting exhaust pipes. The cloth top is also evident, and it's presence has been expected. Previously, we spied the hardtop variant. This prototype looks ready for production, with the bodywork screwed down and the head- and taillights peering out. Even the black wheels with thin spokes wouldn't look out of place on the street. We also see the cross-drilled carbon-ceramic brakes. These massive stoppers will be required to slow down the 5.0-liter supercharged V8, which could make 600 horsepower. That blows by the 550-hp F-Type R and the limited production F-Type Project 7 (575 hp). The Project 7 can hit 60 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds, and we'd expect the SVR model to eclipse that figure. The F-Type SVR and its convertible sibling are part of Jaguar's strategy to remain to true to its sporting heritage – the company counts seven Le Mans victories – while adding vehicles like the F-Pace crossover and XE sedan to adapt to modern consumer preferences. Entry-level Jaguar X-Type successor due in 2015, crossover a year later

Mon, 26 Nov 2012

Jaguar's future product plans keep on slipping, slipping, slipping onto the internet, and the latest on it's entry-level luxury challenger is a 2015 due date. According to Automobile magazine, "most significant game-changer from Coventry" will be arriving on the same PLA platform that supports the Jaguar XJ and 2013 Range Rover. Kacher says the small sedan has already got the green light as codename X760, and will bow first as a four-door sedan, then as a crossover a year later.
This puts a date to a recent Autocar report that a small sedan and crossover were in the works. We've been getting reports of and concepts for a successor to the X-Type ever since Tata bought Jaguar - like the Bertone B99 concept last year, and this enthusiast concept more recently - since everyone knows it's what has to happen for "a new Jaguar" to succeed. We're looking forward to seeing what the English maker comes up with; if it remains true to form, it could be one of the few luxury competitors whose distinct model each look, well, truly distinct.

2013 Jaguar XF 3.0 Supercharged

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Generally speaking, I don't get too upset about the growing need to replace displacement in modern cars. Sure, there are exceptions (don't you touch my 6.2-liter AMG V8), but honestly, the industry's new forced induction powertrains are all lovely, and their gains in fuel economy - when they actually make good on them - can make up for the ever-so-slight losses in performance or driving character.
But I'm having a hard time keeping my chin up with this Jaguar XF. For the 2013 model year, Jaguar has killed off the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 and fitted a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with an eight-speed automatic in its place (and even offers a turbocharged four-cylinder engine below that). That all sounds perfectly well and good, but a week behind the wheel of this British Racing Green sedan just left me missing that V8. And then some.
