THIS CAR HAS BEEN PAMPERED & METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED & GARAGE STORED. COMPLETELY FACTORY OEM STOCK FROM BUMPER TO BUMPER. ALL ORIGINAL METALLIC PAINT AND ZERO ACCIDENTS. THE METALLIC PAINT GLEAMS & SHINES & LOOKS MAGNIFICENT. THE CAR STILL HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL OEM BOOKS, ORIGINAL FACTORY TONEAU COVER FOR THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND THIS YEAR & MODEL IN THIS KIND OF CONDITION ( YOU NEED TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT!). THIS IS NOT ONLY A FIVE SECOND CAR, BUT IN FACT A JAGUAR CLASSIC. THIS CAR IS AMAZING, ON EVERY LEVEL IMAGINABLE. IT'S AN ATTENTION GRABBER FROM EVERYONE ASKING WHAT IS IT. YOU ALSO HAVE THE SUPERCHARGER AT YOUR DISPOSAL TO GRIP THE GROUND & BLOW PAST ANYONE. THE CAR IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. IT HAS NEW CONTINENTAL EXTREME CONTACT DWS TIRES ON IT THAT WERE RATED AS ONE OF THE BEST IN ITS CLASS AND COST OVER $1,000. THEY HAVE UNDER 2,000 MILES ON THEM. THE ONLY FLAWS THAT THE CAR HAS ON THE INTERIOR ARE THE USUAL WEAR ON THE DRIVERS SEAT AND THE MIDDLE TOP REST BETWEEN THE SEATS. THE ONLY FLAWS ON THE EXTERIOR ARE ON THE PASSENGER MIRROR, IT HAS A SCRATCH ON IT FROM RUNNING ACROSS THE SIDE OF THE GARAGE WHEN WE DROVE INTO THE GARAGE, TOO CLOSELY. THE REAR LEFT QUARTER PANEL HAS A LITTLE DENT ON THE TOP OF IT DUE TO ME DROPPING A BOX ON TOP OF IT, BUT IT ISN'T SCRATCHED AND CAN LIKELY BE PULLED UP WITH A SUCTION CUP AT A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP FOR MINIMAL COST, BUT I NEVER HAD IT FIXED SINCE YOU CAN'T EVEN NOTICE IT UNLESS YOU LOOK FOR IT. THE FRONT HOOD HAS A FEW ROCK CHIPS WHICH IS NORMAL WITH ANY CAR. BUT THE PAINT AND CAR LOOK FLAWLESS, LIKELY DUE TO BEING KEPT IN THE GARAGE AND BECAUSE MY WIFE AND I HAVE ALWAYS PAMPERED THE CAR. WE PURCHASED THIS CAR WHEN WE LIVED IN LAS VEGAS, BUT WE MOVED BACK TO CONNECTICUT TO BE CLOSER TO FAMILY AND WE RARELY DRIVE THE CAR, SO WE DECIDED TO SELL IT. IT HAS BEEN THE BEST CAR WE HAVE EVER OWNED. IT IS INCREDIBLY FUN TO DRIVE WITH THE TOP DOWN. THE CAR HAS NEVER HAD ANY MECHANICAL PROBLEMS FOR US AND IT SEEMS TO BE FLAWLESS, MECHANICALLY AND IN APPEARANCE. IF YOU HAVE EVER WANTED A FUN, SUPER FAST, BEAUTIFUL JAGUAR CONVERTIBLE, THIS IS THE ONE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. IT LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE THE $80,000+ SPORTS CAR THAT IT WAS, NEW. THIS CAR HAS THE BEAUTIFUL AND RARE WHITE EXTERIOR WITH AN OATMEAL (TAN) INTERIOR AND THE COLOR COMBINATION IS INCREDIBLE. YOU WILL LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS AND DRIVES. THE CAR IS ONE OF THE NICEST CARS YOU WILL FIND. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CAR, PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL. |

Lots of Land Rovers, Jaguars and Minis actually survived that near-capsized ship
Thu, Jan 29 2015Despite a severe list to starboard, many of the 1,400 cars and SUVs aboard the 51,000-ton Hoegh Osaka are currently being recovered in salvageable condition, with video showing some of the vehicles from British brands Land Rover, Jaguar and Mini, being driven ashore under their own power. The car-carrying vessel developed a severe list on January 3 and was intentionally run aground on a sandbar between England and the Isle of Wight. It has since limped its way back to port in Southampton, where damage assessments are being conducted on both the ship and its $53-million in cargo. According to the company that owns the car carrier, the ship itself only suffered minor damage in the incident, while Car and Driver is reporting that many of the damaged vehicles will almost certainly be scrapped. Still, the fact that there are vehicles, some of which appear undamaged (look at that Defender at 0:50!), being removed from the Hoegh Osaka needs to count as a net win. 2013 Jaguar XF Sportbrake
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Editor's Note: Our reporter was anxious to get some time behind the wheel of the XF Sportbrake, even though Jaguar only had a very small window available for us to drive it. As a result, we weren't able to capture our usual original images to go with the Quick Spin story. Please accept our regrets, and Jag's lovely stock photography, instead.
The last wagon attempt from Jaguar was the X-Type, built between 2003 and that model line's unceremonious end in 2009. That X-Type and its legacy represent a real dog of a chapter for Jaguar, and for the Halewood factory where the barker was built. It was the final joke told prior to the brand's proper rebirth phase - a phase we're enjoying the heck out of today.
Current magnanimous Jaguar owner Tata can be thanked for this new wagon, the XF Sportbrake. Like all newness coming from Jag these days, this new wagon also feels lightyears more serious an offering, ready to compete squarely with established premium wagon makers across Europe. A Jaguar wagon in America is a far-off priority for the company, frankly. Still we deserve to know what we're missing for the time being from this (sometimes overly) cherished British firm.
Is the Jaguar XFR-S really worth $17k more than the XFR? [w/poll]
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Adding performance to a car is rarely cheap - whether you're looking to do it yourself or rely on the factory to do it for you. In the case of the new Jaguar XFR-S, the cost differential over an already-impressive (and somewhat expensive) XFR is a stout $16,800. Auto Express recently got a hold of both cars to see whether that price pays off on the track.
For that price, Jaguar gives the XFR-S an extra 40 horsepower and 41 pound-feet of torque - for a total of 550 hp and 502 lb-ft - to go with a stiffer suspension, beefed-up differential and, of course, meaner styling. We don't want to ruin the results of the AE video, but right off the bat, the host says that you can feel the extra power of the XFR-S, but that it's not a "night-and-day difference."
Scroll down to see what happens when two high-powered Jags go head-to-head on a track. And then be sure to let us know whether or not you think the added money is worth it for the XFR-S in the completely informal poll below.
