There are only a handful of cars that offer Exclusivity, Beauty and Performance. This Beautiful Low Mileage, predominantly Florida 2003 Jaguar XK8 Convertible 4.2 V8 is one such car and is finished in gorgeous and sought after Platinum Silver Metallic with Perfectly contrasting Charcoal leather interior and 'Burl Walnut' trim. The convertible top is black.

The car has the very attractive dual/ triple instrument dial configuration on the interior.

You will look and feel FABULOUS driving this car!!!!. The Michelin Pilot sport A/S tires are very good all around showing around 75% tread life.

This Jaguar is the first year of the superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission which gives more power and better MPG (26 HWY) than the previous, also superb 4.0 V8. With 900 positive part number changes from the 2002 model year this is the 'sweet spot' year and the one to have as far as 'bang for the buck' performance and reliability goes. The most important change of course, being the all new 4.2L motor and 6 speed ZF transmission

This car is in excellent condition throughout. The interior is in excellent condition with no tears, burns etc apparent. The headliner is in excellent shape.. The paint has the luster of new and it drives as smooth, tight and strong as you would expect a 42k miles car to do. The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and ALL electrical components and systems, including the convertible top operate as they should. The convertible top itself is in excellent condition.

NO ACCIDENTS on this Southern car !!!!! Please review the Autocheck history report in the 2nd photo.

This is a NON SMOKER car!!!

PLATINUM SILVER METALLIC is always desirable and will hold its value well. I am having a tough time locating these cars right now so don't delay.

What else do you get? The usual Jaguar refinements are here of course and also to include Factory options, HEATED FRONT SEATS, Alpine Premium Sound, Rain Sensing Wipers , Rear Park Control, 12 way power and 3 Driver Memory Seats, Tilt Telescope Steering Wheel. The list goes on.

This car certainly has all the Presence and Style you would expect. You will feel exquisitely at one with the world behind the wheel of this car, Guaranteed!!!!!!!

This Jaguar E-Type is an even longer-legged feline

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

Paul Branstad loves the shape and purity of the Series 1 Jaguar E-Type, produced from 1961 to 1968, but appreciates the longer length of the Series 3 V12 model, which affords occupants a more comfortable space in which to enjoy long trips. So when Branstad brought his damaged left-hand-drive 1968 roadster from its home in the US to Classic Motor Cars in the UK for a restoration, he had a special request: restore his car, but make it a bit longer.
"This is something that we have never done before. Our client wanted the interior leg room of a Series 3 V12 E-Type but the aesthetics of a Series 1 car," says Nick Goldthorp, managing director of CMC.
For the restoration, CMC added 4.5 inches of length to the floor pan of Branstad's E-Type to create the extra legroom. Goldthorp relates, "The V12 was actually nine inches longer than a Series 1 but a lot of the additional room was behind the seats as storage and was not required on our project." That's because CMC also built a trailer out of two E-Type rear ends that attaches to a custom-made removable tow hitch.

2019 Jaguar I-Pace First Drive Review | A taste of Jag's EV crossover

Thu, Apr 5 2018

This is literally our first drive of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover. It lasted about 2 minutes and occurred on a tiny autocross in a frigid parking lot in New Jersey, but if we're to split hairs, it is indeed the first time we've piloted this revolutionary EV SUV-ish vehicle from a company better known for barking exhausts and slinky sport coupes. While the rest of the automotive press was gallivanting about Manhattan prior to the New York Auto Show, a select few were bused out to Jaguar-Land Rover's new corporate headquarters in Mahwah, N.J. It was there we saw the world debut of the new F-Pace SVR, the North American debut of the Range Rover SV Coupe, and got our first real taste of the I-Pace. The chief impression is that it feels much smaller than its exterior dimensions would indicate, maneuvering quickly and effortlessly without a hint of roll. Credit the wheels pushed out to the absolute corners and a low center of gravity, both the result of Jaguar's decision to fully embrace the packaging and engineering possibilities of an electric powertrain. The steering was perhaps not as feelsome as other Jaguars, but again, who really knows? Two minutes, parking lot, etc. In terms of power, it sure is an electric car. Smooth, quick and quiet, but with so little space to work with, there would've been little noticeable difference between the 394-horsepower I-Pace and the 147-hp Nissan Leaf currently sitting in my driveway. Its estimated range of 240 miles on the EPA cycle? Uh, it was good enough for an afternoon of journalists driving in circles. What I can definitively declare, however, is that the 2019 I-Pace boasts far superior interior quality than every Tesla I've driven. It's also, just as important, a considerable leap forward in terms of materials quality and design from the rather dull and disappointing current Jaguar litter of F-Pace, XF and XE. For instance, leather or leatherette always cover the dash (versus the rubbery stuff found in lower F-Pace, XF and XE trim levels), while there was clearly an effort made to visually spruce things up. The dual-screen center console controls first seen on the Range Rover Velar also appear for the first time in a Jaguar, as does a unique push-button shifter ( though I still prefer a properly utilized rotary). Jaguar turns down offers to join V8 Supercars, questions AMG, Volvo participation

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Rumors have swirled in recent weeks that Jaguar may be the next manufacturer to join the V8 Supercars racing series, made popular in Australia but now well-known in other parts of the world as well. Sadly, Jag's participation is not to be. In fact, it would be "insane," according to Jaguar Land Rover Asia Pacific Managing Director David Blackhall, for it to accept either of the two offers it has received to bring Jaguar into V8 Supercars.
Not only is Jaguar not interested in entering V8 Supercars, says Blackhall, it also fails to understand the recent entries from AMG and Volvo. "I don't know what it does for AMG to get flogged by a V8 Commodore week after week, but it's their brand, their issue. And the same thing will happen to Volvo to be honest."
Judging by Blackhall's statements to motoring.com.au, after not-so-serious consideration, the automaker decided the monetary commitment it would take to compete for wins would be more than any potential exposure would be worth, despite the fact that Jaguar has a 5.0-liter V8 to go along with what would seem to be a tailor-made rear-wheel-drive chassis. For what it's worth, one offer would have had Jaguar putting its name across an engine made by someone else, an option that was flatly turned down.
