I bought this car for my birthday last year, just to have a summer fun car. The previous owner had just spent $2600 on getting new timing chain and tensioner from the Jaguar dealership. The cars runs and drives great, it a wonderful highway cars. I put a new set or tires on this car less then 1000 miles ago, I also just had a new soft top installed and it looks great.

The negatives about this car, it got some hail damage last year, and the clear coat is peeling all over the car and a cracked windshield. Mechanical the only issues is a ABS light comes on from time to time. If you Google this problem you will see its very common on these XK8 and there is a cheap fix. You have to take out the ABS Module and resolder one connection, it takes a couple of hours to do this repair and doesn't cost anything. I haven't got around to doing it because the light does not come on every time and it doesn't effect how the car runs or drives.

This is a fun car, it's awesome dropping the top and letting the wind blow through your hair. I've owned about 10 Convertibles and enjoy all of them.

This car started off life as a California car, new it was over $70,000. NADA says this car should sell for over $7800 for a average condition car, This car has a brand new set of tires and a brand new top. Since it has some hail dents and clear coat peeling I will put a very fair price on this car of just $5500.00

Jaguar bringing all-wheel-drive F-Type to LA Auto Show [w/video]

Jaguar's big splash at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show was showing off the slinky F-Type Coupe; perhaps one of the loveliest car shapes on the road today. This year the company won't have a show-stopping new design to offer, but the news that all-wheel drive is coming to the F-Type range is, nevertheless, pretty spectacular.
Mixed in with news about a technical partnership between Jaguar and the Bloodhound SSC World Land Speed Record program, the British brand announced this morning that it will show the first AWD F-Type Coupe at the 2014 LA show later this month.
Jaguar tells us that the sure-footed cat, in AWD F-Type R Coupe form, will run from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds, with a limited top speed of 186 mph.

In its recent ads, the company wants to be associated with a more tailored, witty form of villainy. The next step is showing that it's also fearless.
Many Americans might not be familiar with José Mourinho, but he's one of the premier soccer, or football, coaches in the world. He's nicknamed "The Special One." Mourinho worked his way up from an assistant coach to lead small teams but eventually took over international heavyweights like Real Madrid and Chelsea.
In a new ad for the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Mourinho talks about what it means to be afraid. You might think such successful people overcome their fears, but successful men are driven it, he claims. Jaguar confirms 575-hp F-Type Project 7 for Goodwood debut

Two days ago, Jaguar announced it had something special in store for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Then yesterday images of that special creation, the F-Type Project 7, leaked out. And now, as promised, Coventry has released the full details on the ultimate F-Type to date. And its even better than we expected.
The production version of the concept revealed last year, the F-Type Project 7 celebrates the 60th anniversary of the D-Type by borrowing some of that legendary roadster's design cues, right down to the rear fin and British Racing Green livery with white racing stripes.
Of course the Project 7 is more than just a retro appearance package. The bespoke speedster packs a version of Jaguar's prolific 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 575 horsepower - 25 more than the F-Type R Coupe - to make it the Leaping Cat marque's most powerful production car to date. Mated to Coventry's familiar eight-speed automatic transmission, that's said to be enough to propel the Project 7 to 60 in 3.8 seconds en route to an electronically limited top speed of 186 miles per hour. Keeping all that power and pace in check and on the road are such features as carbon ceramic brakes, a full complement of carbon-fiber aero components, electronic differential and brake-based torque vectoring system.
