This is a 94 JAGUAR XJS.  The vehicle has normal wear for A 20 year old vehicle.  I have owned this car for 16 years.  The cars runs and drives fine, new tires, new convertible top.  There are issues with wear on the vehicle,  someone inclined with cars can fix the issues.  As follows:

Front bumper is faded in spots

Missing one front headlight washer sprayer cover

Paint faded silver dollar size by front right window

Passenger door will not open the latch is stuck and I took off the door panel and it is in the trunk.

Reflector cover is broken on driver side rear bumper

Trunk needs new shocks to hold it in open position.

Convertible top is in manual mode but the motor for the top works fine but needs new hose to hold hydro fluid in.

Small wear tear on drivers side interior door panel, also on steering wheel, and small wear spot on drivers side seat.

A/C needs to be charged.

This car is being sold as is and it does run and drive fine.  Some TLC and this can be a very nice car. only 95000 miles.  Regular oil changes were always done.

Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up.

Jaguar's Callum refutes two XJ bodystyle rumor

Wed, 01 May 2013

Not long ago, we relayed word from Edmunds that Jaguar was planning to split its next-generation XJ sedan into two bodystyles - one model that continued the ambitious design approach fostered with the current X351-based model, and another, more upright model to better appeal to China's conservative design sensibilities.
We expressed some cynicism in the idea, noting that such a strategy "might catch more profits for the marque, but it might also represent a setback to design head Ian Callum's vision for a thoroughly modern Jaguar portfolio." Callum has been quite insistent in his belief that Jag needs to be a forward-thinking brand in terms of design, and the two-model strategy seemed to conflict with that idea. We tried to get some comment from Callum at that time, but were unable to reach him.
As it turns out, our cynicism was well-placed. Autocar says that while the next XJ will continue to have two wheelbases, Callum has denied the two-model talk, saying flatly: "I can't see us doing two bodystyles. The cost would be enormous and the message inconsistent. You have to believe in what you produce and to do two bodystyles would undermine that."

Jaguar returns to open-wheel racing with Formula E team [w/video]

Tue, Dec 15 2015

One of the most legendary names in motor racing – Jaguar – is returning to the open-wheel racing, but not with an internal-combustion engine. The British company has confirmed its plans to enter the FIA Formula E Championship. Though the British automaker has revealed little in the way of concrete details, the team is set to join the electric grid for the third season starting next fall. Jaguar will team up with Williams as its technical partner, drawing on the relationship they established in developing the C-X75 hybrid hypercar concept and on Williams' considerable racing expertise. The F1 team founded by Frank Williams developed the battery system for the SRT_01E that all the teams are using currently. "Electric vehicles will absolutely play a role in Jaguar Land Rover's future product portfolio and Formula E will give us a unique opportunity to further our development of electrification technologies," said JLR's chief engineer Nick Rogers. "The Championship will enable us to engineer and test our advanced technologies under extreme performance conditions." The company recently showcased new battery propulsion technology and is said to be developing an electric crossover to be dubbed the Jaguar E-Pace. Jaguar won Le Mans five times in the 1950s and twice again in 1988 and '90, and racked up victories in touring cars in the early 80s. Most recently Jaguar Racing represented the company in Formula One until then-parent Ford sold the team to Red Bull in 2004 before divesting itself from the company altogether in 2007. Aside from the XKR GT3/GT2 that it furnished to privateer teams, Jaguar has not competed in any major racing series since. Jaguar joins Audi, Renault, and PSA Peugeot Citroen on the Formula E grid. The announcement coincides with the withdrawal from the series of the Trulli team. Former F1 driver Jarno Trulli took over the outfit from Drayson and is now relinquishing the slot back to the series organizers effective immediately, dropping the grid down to 9 teams and 18 cars until Jaguar takes its place next season.
