1994 Jaguar XJS - very good condition - repaint in original teal green metallic - European headlamp lenses and washers - tan leather interior in generally very good condition with some cracking on driver's side bolster - headliner good - interior is very clean - center console wood panel in great condition - dashboard and door panel wood strips have some cracking in clear coat but not excessive - trunk liner clean - straight 6 cylinder engine runs well - I have always garaged this car and it has never been in rain or snow since I have owned it - tires are Pirelli Pilots with lots of tread left, however the driver's side front and passenger's side rear have slow leaks - I plan to put tubes in these - radio is original AM/FM with tape deck and weather channel preset - electric windows and door locks work - has front spoiler - have owner's manual - car runs out good on highway - I will release the title once funds have cleared - use PAYPAL or wire transfer -

Say goodbye to Jaguar's vestigial oval grille
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Jaguar has been on a campaign to replace any and all retro cues with modern ones. Just look at the current XJ and the one it replaced, or the XF and the S-Type that came before it and you'll know what we mean. The one remnant is the XK and its oval grille, in and of itself a throwback to Jags of old (which started to look more like a certain Star Wars alien in above-pictured XKR-S form). But don't expect it to hang around.
Newer Jaguars have been ditching the oval aperture for a more squared-off one, and the next XK will have to fall in line. But don't expect that to be the only change in store for the next-generation Jaguar coupe and convertible.
With the new F-Type now holding the more enthusiast-oriented ground, the next XK is expected to grow bigger, softer and more luxurious. That will likely mean a more commodious back seat as well, though that shouldn't be hard to do considering the lack of space in the back of the current model...
Jaguar releases Desire short film starring F-Type and Damian Lewis
Wed, 24 Apr 2013After stoking the hype with a theatrical-style trailer, Jaguar has finally released the full-length version of its mini-movie, Desire, to help kick off the new 2014 Jaguar F-Type. Starring Homeland actor Damian Lewis across from the lovely Shannyn Sossamon, the film has been turned loose on YouTube after an initial debut at the Sundance London film and music festival.
Shot in Chile's rather breathtaking Atacama Desert, Desire is described by the producers as being "A story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed." Lewis plays the lead role of Clark, a high-end car delivery guy (great work if you can get it), who runs into an unexpected, sexy mystery when shuttling the lovely F-Type to the middle of nowhere. Who could have guessed?

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee season 2 opens with Sarah Silverman and Jag E-Type
Sat, 15 Jun 2013Season Two of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee kicked this week in style. How much more style is there to be had than in a 1969 Jaguar XKE, after all? This time around, Seinfeld and Sarah Silverman spend some time driving around in the "slinky, sexy" Jag, talking comedy and then grabbing breakfast.
In addition to the kickoff of the show's second season, this episode also represents the start of a 24-episode sponsorship with Acura. The original deal promised short ads at the beginning and end of each episode, but this time around, Seinfeld "stumbles upon" a 2014 Acura RLX, which is obviously - and admittedly - the work of product integration.
