Barn Find USED IN MOVIES AND TV MATCHING NUMBER ALL ORIGINAL 1988 JAGUAR XJS COUPE This vehicle along with thousands of others were used in TV and Movies when first purchased and then stored in a barn for over 20+ years. No, I do not know what movies or TV shows they were used in. The owner of the company who supplied these cars (his ex-business) did not keep those records. I purchased over a dozen Jaguars
from the collection and had them transported to Cleveland, Ohio and placed in
storage until I build my mancave. The original New Jersey dust is still on
the car. I talked to the manager of the private storage facility and he said that these these cars were never moved or touched once they were placed in storage (20+ years ago). This car is unmolested and all original. Except for the dust, the car is near immaculate. The paint is excellent, there is no rust - anywhere (except for exhaust pipe). The engine is clean and has not been
started. I wanted to wait until I could properly prepare. I had new keys made from the original paperwork and VIN number. The only missing piece(s) I could see, are the chrome top plate of the bumpers. The interior is immaculate and looks like it was rarely driven. If you like Jaguars and an XJS lover, this car is the perfect car for your collection. Needs little, all original, unmolested and has never seen any elements of weather in over 20 years.Call me with any questions at 440-915-8440. Take a look at the pictures. Watch Jaguar reveal the C-X17 Concept live, right now!
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Jaguar is set to reveal the C-X17 concept crossover in just a few short moments. The show starts at 11:00 AM EST, which is supper time in Frankfurt where the reveal is taking place. It's almost lunch time here on the East Coast of the US, so enjoy your sammy and a bag of chips while you sit back and watch Jaguar show us all some new technology and possibly an entirely new direction for the brand. Jaguar XE bares its claws in 74 images [w/video]
Wed, 01 Oct 2014The XE may prove to be the most vital new model to Jaguar's expansion. But to date we've only really seen it in top-spec, supercharged XE S form. That ends right here and now, however, as Jaguar releases details, photos and even a brief video clip showing the entire range - including those most customers are bound to buy.
Globally speaking - or at least in its home market - Jaguar will offer the XE with five different engines and in four different trim levels. The new Ingenium engine family includes two diesels and two turbocharged gasoline options along with the top-of-the-line supercharged V6 that will serve as the XE's performance flagship model, at least until a new SVR version comes along. Both six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions are on offer, and overseas buyers will also be able to choose between base SE, mid-range Prestige, opulent Portfolio, dynamic R-Sport and range-topping S trim levels.
Of course not every engine is available in each trim level and with either transmission, so instead of 40 combinations we're looking at 22. Once the XE reaches American showrooms, we'll likely be looking at even fewer, as we're not expecting the manual and diesel versions to be offered Stateside. Jaguar sends off XK with limited-run Final 50 edition
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Jaguar XK coupe and convertible are pointed at the production sunset, and the cars that will end their retail lives in the US will be the dubbed the XK Final Fifty Limited Edition. As the name implies there will be fifty of them made, 25 of the fixed-roof variety, 25 of the droptop.
As the name doesn't imply, however, they'll be based on the XKR and be injected with liberal doses of XKR-S and XKR-S GT: the 510-horsepower V8 from the XKR will be mated to normally optional items like the Dynamic and Performance Packs, machined front suspension components from the XKR-S and a 10-millimeter lower ride height, the louvered hood from the XKR-S GT and Vortex 20-inch forged wheels. The sheetmetal gets a bath in Ultimate Black paint "with special trim" and badged door sill plates. Convertibles will come black roofs, but the Performance Active Exhaust will keep you apprised of the 5.0-liter V8 bellows no matter which car you choose.
They'll go into production this summer and hit dealerships in the fall. There's a lengthy press release below with more info on how this cat will sing its swan song.
