This is the first year of the superb and acclaimed Aluminum Lightweight Monocoque Body, 4.2 liter V8 SUPERCHARGED motor and 6 Speed drive train configuration. 400 Horsepower and 399 ft. lbs. of Torque. These newer motors give better gas mileage than the previous engine (27mpg easily on the Highway, amazing! This car benefits from a set of Jaguar Factory 19 inch aluminum rims with a set of very good Pirelli Tires 255/40/19 all around.

All Owners manuals are present and correct!

The exterior gleams with the Luster of new and the leather seats are in excellent condition. Very Smooth, Very Fast (Zero to 60 in 5 seconds fast!!!) and Very Very Handsome!!!!

The Ebony/Charcoal Leather color combo is very pleasing to the eye and of course extremely desirable!!!

We Sold this car to a Gentleman originally who is now moving to Colorado and wants a 4 wheel drive Vehicle. So it is back in inventory and just as good as when he took it. He requested us to to install Charcoal Alcantera Suede Headliner A,B,C pillars and sun visors at a cost of $800.00..Looks fantastic!! He also asked to install a Lower Mesh Grille. The car has been recently serviced and all systems are fully operational. ALL SYSTEMS!! It is a great car!

What else do you get? The usual Jaguar refinements are here of course on this $78,000.00 when new automobile and also to include, FACTORY NAVIGATION, CLIMATE CONTROL, ADAPTIVE cruise control, (this feature is superb on a busy highway!) Xenon Headlamps, Heated seats front and rear!!! Rain Sensing Wipers, Front Park Control, Dual Climate Control. Alpine Premium Sound. 12 way power and 3 Driver Memory Seats, Tilt Telescope Steering Wheel, power adjustable pedals The Premium Alpine Music system sounds amazing!!! The list goes on.

This car certainly has all the Jaguar style and the Ultimate road presence you would expect. You will feel exquisitely at one with the world behind the wheel of this car. It is simply a fact of life!!! Comfortable, smooth, relaxing and plenty of power when needed. You will not be disappointed.

This or That: Mercedes S-Class 350SD vs. 2003 Jaguar XJR [w/poll]

Thu, Mar 26 2015

Budget. It's a wretched word, whether you're going out to eat, shipping for a new outfit or, more relevant to today's discussion, buying a car. Massive marketing machines have convinced us, as a population, to buy the best you can afford, repercussions be damned – If you've saved up some money, spend it! All of it, on whatever it is that currently sits atop your personal Amazon wishlist, be it a Timex that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin', a $17,000 Gold Apple Watch or a $60,000 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. But what if the best you can afford is... say, $12,815? For that price, you can buy a brand-new 2015 Nissan Versa (including destination), assuming you're happy with zero options and a manual transmission. For that price, you'll get standard air conditioning, a CD player and... well, a warranty. Pretty sensible choice, Captain Frugal. But also ridiculously uninspired. And so that brings us to today's edition of This or That, in which two Autoblog editors pick differing sides of an argument and duke it out to see which one of us can convince you, dear reader, is better. Or at least less wrong. You be the judge. As a refresher, I'm two-and-two on these challenges, having lost the first and second editions before storming back in rounds three and four. Today, as alluded to above, we decided to throw our collective brainpower (oh lord, what have we done?) at what may be the single most difficult question currently confounding the best minds our planet has to offer: What is the best used used luxury car you can buy for the price of a 2015 Nissan Versa? Shall we meet our contenders? Allow me to introduce you to the most perfect luxury car money can buy (assuming the amount of money you're holding is equal to the amount of the cheapest new car currently sold in America, the Nissan Versa). My pick is the 1991 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Not just any S-Class, but the legendary W126, which was produced between 1979 and 1992. And not just any W126, either, but one powered by a 3.5-liter turbodiesel engine. And with that, I send the argument to my esteemed colleague, Associate Editor Chris Bruce. Bruce: Jeremy, we had over $12,000 to budget for this challenge, and the best you can manage is a 24-year-old diesel Mercedes? I love oil-burners as much as any other auto writer with their mountains of torque and huge cruising range, but you're making this too easy on me. Also, you're really choosing a brown, diesel, German luxury sedan?

Ian Callum wanted to call Jaguar's crossover X-Type [w/poll]

Thu, Jan 15 2015

Jaguar raised some eyebrows when it announced that it would call its upcoming crossover F-Pace. But the British automaker didn't just pick the name out of a hat. Speaking with Auto Express, Jaguar's design director Ian Callum said the company entertained several possible nameplates for its first crossover, and that he personally advocated for resurrecting the name X-Type. The nameplate was, of course, previously used on the marque's entry-level sedan – the predecessor to the upcoming XE that was based on the front-drive platform of the Ford Mondeo and which was also offered with all-wheel drive. The connection with that much-maligned model is reportedly ultimately what dissuaded the company's marketing gurus from using the nameplate again, even if it might have been more suitable. Another nameplate Coventry reportedly considered was XQ, but the latter letter's use by rival Audi for its crossovers and by former sister company Aston Martin for its personalization range ruled the prospect out for the Leaping Cat marque. Auto Express notes a connection between the name F-Pace and Jaguar's 1960s ad campaign hailing its products as offering a combination of "Grace, Space and Pace." For his part, Callum didn't dismiss the possibility the slogan could could lead to additional models wearing similar nameplates like F-Grace or F-Space. What do you think – did Jaguar pick the right name for its first foray into the crossover market? Share your thoughts in Comments and cast your vote in our poll below.

Jaguar planning two bodystyles for next XJ

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

As we alluded to in today's F-Type first drive, Jaguar hasn't been selling its wares in China for very long, and as a result, buyers there usually don't have the same appreciation for the brand's history. So you might reasonably think that the company's recent radical styling shift (kicked off by the 2008 XF) wouldn't be as jarring to the nation's buying populace since they really didn't have the automaker's more traditionally styled models from years past to compare them against.
Yet while Jaguar and its sister marque, Land Rover, continue to pick up steam in China's developing market, that apparently isn't necessarily the case. Local buyers there tend to have more conservative tastes when it comes to styling, preferring more upright dimensions, big back seats and larger quantities of traditional luxury materials (think: chrome and wood) than other markets currently find desirable. Thus, the very bold current-generation XJ sedan may be leaving some sales on the table.
According to Edmunds, Jag doesn't want to risk that, and as such, it is preparing two bodystyles for the next-generation XJ - one with the rakish coupe-like styling of the current model, and a more "old-school" three-box sedan designed to appeal to a wider swath of Chinese buyers.
