Nice original Jaguar XJR 6 Supercharged, Everything works as it should, recently passed state required test. never smoked in vehicle is one of the nicest Jaguars out there for the money. This vehicle was driven an average of 2000 miles a year and garaged its entire life. never driven in rain or snow the under carriage is like new underneath. car has no leaks, no ticking, no issues what so ever. The digital clock will sometimes fade out and then reappear but other than that car blows ice cold air the cruise control all power windows and locks work perfectly. the carpets and door sills look as if they were new. I forgot to post a photo of the engine compartment but can assure you it is immaculate as the rest of the car and will gladly send a photo of the under carriage or engine compartment if you are truly interested in this Jaguar. Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year

Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.

Xcar weighs in on the five best-sounding modern cars
Fri, Jul 24 2015Getting behind the wheel of a well-balanced vehicle can be a wonderfully visceral experience, thanks to the combined feeling of things like the weight of the steering, the bite of the brakes, and, of course, the roar of the engine. Unfortunately, many of the sensations of driving require actually being in the driver's seat to understand them, but thankfully the intoxicating noise of a beautifully tuned internal combustion engine can be shared with everyone. In a new video, Xcar shares their opinion on the five best-sounding modern performance cars. The list is a symphony of horsepower. As opposed to keeping all of the vehicles brand new, Xcar actually picks a few that are recently off the market. They're all definitely champs, though. While the list itself is well stocked, you might be able to argue with the specific order, and it would be nice to hear a few participants from outside of Europe for a collection like this one, too. No matter. Every listener is sure to find something they like in the bunch, though. Turn up the volume and enjoy.
Jaguar working on lighter F-Type with C-X75's twin-charged engine?
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Every automaker has its own agenda when it comes to concept cars. Some roll them out just to showcase where it's heading. Others create them to gauge public opinion for a potential production model. Still others only showcase a concept car to preview a model that's already well underway. Jaguar is just such a company.
In the last several years, Coventry has only produced a handful of concept cars, and each of them - the C-X16 that foreshadowed the F-Type, the C-X17 that previews the upcoming crossover and Project 7 that is now entering limited production - has led straight to the introduction of a new, commercially available model. Except for one: the C-X75.
The extreme lightweight supercar was set to succeed the XJ220 with a number of advanced technologies, but unfortunately Jaguar ended up pulling the plug to watch from the sidelines as McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche got all the attention for their new hybrid hypercars. But that doesn't mean that some of the technologies initially developed for the C-X75 won't find their way into other Jaguar products.
