This car was a nice daily driver for the short time I owned it. I purchased in Jan'13 for myself so my wife a had a car to drive. I'm in the US Navy and since have stationed overseas and I need to sell. A friend has it along with SPOA (Special Power of Attorney) to sell it for me.

Recent work:

NEW Front breaks, Rotors, and Calipers.

New rear passenger shock, as the bushing failed. So I replaced it thinking it was the shock.

New front driver's side wheel hub & ball joints, the upper failed requiring a new wheel hub & bearing.

Needs?:

The radio Antenna is broken but the radio still works great (so I didn't worry about it).

Plates expired in November (I didn't tag it as I was trying to sell it and it will require a SMOG check on transfer anyhow).

Basic Oil change. (As with the recent work above costing well in excess of $1,300, well I'm already taking a big loss).

Drivers side module needs installation. (I have a new old stock one on hand but didn't take a couple hours to install (it needed a 50 star bit size for the sit to replace it)).

I also have a CD of Manuals, tech pubs, and general info on this model of car. It also comes with 2 key Fobs and only one key (the cheapest I could find to cut a second key was $120) I found the 2 used remotes on eBay for about $90. Also I put in brand new custom Floor Mats in as the old ones were VERY tired.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee returns June 19, celebrates with new trailer

A brand new season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on the way - it will involve Seinfeld and comedian Robert Klein going to Sing Sing Correctional Facility in what appears to be a Jaguar Mark II - and the trailer is out now. In addition to Klein there'll be appearances by Sarah Jessica Parker, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari and John Stewart. We don't get to see all the rides, but a Buick Riviera GS gets some airtime and the 1949 Porsche 356/2 Gmund from the segment with Jay Leno makes a cameo. Jaguar F-Type US order guide loose online

An alleged US order guide for the 2014 Jaguar F-Type has made its way online courtesy of the good people at F-TypeClub.com, documenting everything from wheel color options to special equipment packages. From the looks of things, buyers will be able to choose from a total of eight wheel designs in sizes ranging from 18 inches on the base model all the way up to 20 inches. While most of those rollers are available in either silver or black finishes, the 20-inch blade-style wheels are not only forged, but come with carbon-fiber trim. Fancy.
Depending on trim, F-Type buyers will get to choose between two types of seat, including a set of performance-style 14-way power adjustable thrones, complete with seat belts in black, red or tan. Other fun tricks include available power folding side view mirrors and a 770-watt, 14-speaker Meridian sound system.

Jay Leno hits the road in a 1951 Jaguar XK 120 Hot Rod

The 1951 Jaguar XK120 featured in this episode of Jay Leno's Garage might look vaguely like a classic Jag roadster at first, but underneath this cat is something completely different. It was built by Leno's buddy Jason Len of XK's Unlimited when he grew tired of keeping these convertibles stock, and this aluminum-bodied beast was the result. Practically the only major Jaguar part left is the engine. It's a tuned 3.8-liter inline six from an E-Type with Weber carbs that makes an estimated 300 horsepower out of some gorgeous side-exit exhausts. The mill is backed up to a BorgWarner five-speed manual. However, the big surprise is the chassis. In place of Jag's original solution, Len has a custom tubular space frame that he claims sheds some 1,000 pounds over the stock example. There are still some classic Jaguar touches left, though, such as the fin over the driver's head that is reminiscent of the D-Type, and both the wheels and gauges are replicas based on that classic racer. Of course the best part is watching Jay drive this Jag hot rod. This big cat really knows how to purr.
