We should probably call this the Jaguar Fast Pace

Jaguar appears be working on a high-performance R variant of its slinky F-Pace crossover. But, it has done an excellent job of hiding that in these spy shots. There really are no visual indicators that this test car is anything special. The lights, grille openings, and even exhaust all appear to be standard-issue F-Pace. According to the spy photographer, what doesn't come across is the sound of the crossover, which he reports is quite loud, thus this strongly sounds like the F-Pace R. We expect at least 500 horsepower, and the ute could borrow the V8 from the F-Type R, or run a new, tuned-up version of the V6. We would lean toward the F-Type R V8. Since that engine has also been used in the performance version of the XF, which shares other powertrains with the F-Pace, it would likely be the easiest to drop into the crossover. We also aren't sure when this fast-paced F-Pace will come to market, but the wait probably won't be too long. Jaguar riffs on Super Bowl ad with new F-Type Coupe web short

Continuing the story of black hearts it began with its first Super Bowl commercial, Jaguar is roaring down the dark and oh-so-magnificently appealing road of villainy with a new spot featuring Tom Hiddleston. Using its new F-Type Coupe to demonstrate, the actor explains the salient features of the best - meaning, English - villains.
However, it's likely that even if you could manage the elegance, the tailored suit, the sharp wit and the distinct sound, you couldn't pull it all off nearly as well as Hiddleston. That doesn't mean you can't try, of course. Might we suggest starting with his excellent lesson in being properly villainous in the video below?

Top Gear caught filming Best of British near Buckingham Palace

YouTuber and car-fan extraordinaire Shmee probably had very little trouble tracking down the Top Gear film crew recently, as the group was putting together an episode that could accurately be described as "excessive." With its flag-waving (literally) Best of British theme, the TG guys gathered a jaw-dropping array of British cars, and parked them all right in front of Buckingham Palace to make extra sure that the point was driven home.
Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were outfitted with a trio of Jaguar F-Types festooned with gigantic Union Jacks, with which to survey the landscape of British motoring glory. In the video below, you'll see that this includes any number of Mini, Aston Martin, Lotus, McLaren, Land Rover, Bentley and Rolls-Royce models (just to name a few), as well as a healthy dose of weird stuff that most people would never guess at being built in the UK. The lawnmowers and military vehicles are especially cool.
