This car has a great background. It was shipped to the US from Hawaii. I drove it for two years (best ride ever) until I had transmission problems. I could not determine if it was the tranz or the computer & I don't have the money to repair my terrific car. The engine is very strong, smooth ride and could be an excellent fixer up auto. It was running great until I let it sit for a month & the fuel pump has failed. The car turns over but won't fire due to lack of gas. Again, no funds to fix the car so I'm letting it go to someone who will fix it up or (I hate to say it) use it for parts. It does have a dent in the hood compliments to a deer but I do have a replacement hood & grill still in the box that goes with the car plus a brand new battery. That's over $1500 in parts. I'm asking $4995 or best offer.

Motor Trend pits Aston V12 Vantage S against Jaguar XKR-S GT in battle of the Brits
Fri, 20 Dec 2013With the recent increase in higher-performance versions of already high-performance vehicles, like Mercedes-Benz and its AMG Black Series, the public is now gaining even greater access to speed and maneuverability. Two of the most recent sports cars to get their wicks turned up include the Jaguar XKR-S GT and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S.
Both of these cars are the pinnacles of their lines, with the Jag lording over the XKR-S, XKR and XK while the Aston rules over the standard V8 Vantage S and V8 Vantage. Motor Trend has opted to pit the two rivals together for some thorough testing, and it just happened to bring along a few video cameras to capture all the action.
There's nearly 19 minutes of super hot sports car action below, so scroll down and enjoy.

Jaguar design boss Callum reinterprets classic Mark 2 for himself [w/video]
Fri, 29 Aug 2014As the man behind the styling of basically every Jaguar since the mid 2000s, two things should be known about Ian Callum - he's a big fan of the brand, and he can bloody well get whatever kind of Jag he wants.
His newest car, though, is not what you might expect. Rather than an F-Type or an XJ, Callum has gone old school, and commissioned a custom, resto-modded Jaguar Mark 2.
Designed by Callum and built by Classic Motor Cars in Shropshire, England, the Mark 2 was an 18-month project between the designer and the garage. The essentially new car draws its power from a 4.3-liter engine that's been pilfered and modified from an XK. It's mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
