EXTERIOR-- SEE PHOTOS,  JUST AS IT CAME IN!  NO DINGS OR DENTS, NO SIGNIFICANT SCRATCHES, THE CAR LOOKS SO GOOD!  To note-- if you look at the paint very closely there is some checking hear and there, some dull spots here and there.  IT IS NOT A RESTORED SHOW CAR, BUT WOW IT IS AN AMAZING ORIGINAL CAR THAT WOULD NEED VERY LITTLE TO BE ONE.  THIS IS A ANTIQUE WORK OF ART!  ALL GLASS WEATHER STRIP IS EXCELLENT,  To note-- a couple inch area on the right side end of the front bumper has some chrome pealing, the wheels have some clear peeling and are missing 3 center caps.

Hmm? the left rear of the driver seat back vinyl has a few loose staples.  THE INTERIOR IS SO NICE ANS SO SO COOL!  THE CENTER CONSOLE IS FULL OF BIG BAND ANS SWING CASSETTES AND IT TRULY SETS THE MOOD IN THE GLORIOUS CLIMATE CONTROLLED SILKY SMOOTH QUIET INTERIOR!

Jaguar C-X75 production run canceled

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

"We feel we could make the car work, but looking at the global austerity measures in place now, it seems the wrong time to launch an 800,000-pound to 1 million-pound supercar."
Those words are from Jaguar Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark, and as true as they may be, it still stings a little bit. After all, we've been looking forward to the Jaguar C-X75 ever since word came from Jolly Olde that it was green-lit for a short production run.
Some of the cool bits and pieces the world will now be without: a powerful but relatively miserly 1.6-liter turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine, two electric motors driving all four wheels and a carbon fiber chassis developed by Williams F1. Sigh.

Watch this Jaguar XJ220 perform a fiery burnout

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

We like to think that at least some supercar owners drive their exotic machinery the way they're meant to be driven. The reality is more likely that most pamper them in climate-controlled environments and rarely actually drive them. But Tax The Rich seems dedicated to balancing them all out by hooning the heck out of some of the most expensive and desirable supercars the world has ever seen - whether it's a Ferrari Enzo rallying along dirt roads or a pair of F50s playing tug of war.
The YouTube channel has even played around with a Jaguar XJ220 before, but not quite like this. In its latest clip, Tax The Rich goes a step or two beyond the usual smokey burnout, lighting up the rear wheels of a super-rare Jag, all for our viewing pleasure. And take pleasure we do in the video below, even as part of us cringes at the thought of potentially reducing one of the fastest Jaguars in history to a smoldering hulk.

Jaguar In Its Purest Form
Jaguar has spent a lot of time, money and engineering effort refocusing itself for the modern world. In 2006, the current XK replaced the former XK8 and introduced a new aluminum-intensive chassis architecture to Jaguar's portfolio, and two years later, the XF whipped up a similar overhaul to its classical styling department.
The next major revision came in 2009, with the introduction of the achingly attractive and completely new XJ sedan, and this step struck us as the biggest improvement yet; not only was Jaguar's flagship built atop a cutting-edge platform, it boasted a newfound sense of style that pointed toward the future while still echoing the brand's storied past. This trend has continued most recently with the two-door F-Type that we've already grown quite fond of.
