1996 XJ-12 Long Wheel
Base This car is a California low mileage car with only 95,000 miles. I have owned this XJ-12 for over 10 years and it has been in storage since 2006. The car does have a non-op title and has just been serviced, oil change, transmission fluid changed, brake inspection. The car does need the cooling system flushed and cleaned. Air conditioning blows ice cold and all systems work as they should. The car is also a long wheel base car which is hard to find. This car has been maintained and is mechanically sound and has a factory CD changer, this is very rare find for this year of car with a 6.0 V12. The clear coat paint is not in good condition and the tires should be replaced. The early V12 5.3 did have some problems however, this does not apply to this model. This is a great road car and is a pleasure to drive. The interior is in great condition but the driver’s side seat does have some wear. The wood is in great shape, the head liner is good with no sag, all glass and chrome is in good condition. The VIN tags are on all four corners of the car. The car does have the factory tool kit. I have been a factory trained Jaguar mechanic for over 35 years so I am very familiar with these cars. The 3 things the car needs: 1.
Clear coat 2.
New Tires 3.
Cooling system
serviced Please Note: This car is sold as is and where is… NO WARRENTY If you have any questions
please feel free to email me.
Thank you |

Jaguar XJ220 leaps into Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, Feb 15 2016Having sadly canceled the C-X75 project and sat out today's hybrid hypercar race, it would be all too easy to forget about Jaguar as a supercar manufacturer altogether. But back in the early '90s, the British automaker didn't just play in the supercar game – it dominated it. The XJ220 was, for a time, the fastest car in the world. Jay Leno pays tribute in this latest video. Originally envisioned with a V12 engine and all-wheel drive, the XJ220 ultimately surfaced with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 driving the rear wheels alone. None of that kept it from eclipsing the top speed achieved by every supercar that came before with a terminal velocity that didn't quite reach the 220 miles per hour initially promised, but came pretty darn close. The disappointment in the change of specification lead some to dismiss the XJ220 as a failure, but it was still the fastest thing on the road until another British supercar (in the form of the McLaren F1) took its place at the pinnacle of automotive bragging rights. Two decades later, Jaguar quite nearly drove down the same road when its initial plans for the C-X75 changed from an experimental turbine powertrain to a multi-charged inline-four. Only this time the Leaping Cat marque didn't put it into production at all, save for a few prototypes and movie props – which is a bit of a shame, and then some. Watching Jay speed down memory lane in the supercar that almost never was, we're glad that Jaguar still built the XJ220, and saddened that it never followed up with another groundbreaking supercar today. Watch the Jaguar I-Pace live reveal
Thu, Mar 1 2018The day has finally come for the Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover to be revealed, and you can watch as the sheet is pulled off the company's first full EV. The reveal starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, and can be viewed in the embedded video above. The I-Pace was first revealed in concept form in Nov. 2016. Jaguar claimed it had a range of 220 miles, 400 horsepower, and 516 pound-feet of torque. Jaguar has also promised very fast charging at 100kW DC chargers. Apparently it can regain 80% of its charge in 45 minutes at such a charger. Jaguar has claimed this charging capability for the production model, but we have yet to see if the power and range numbers held up. Jaguar will also run a one-make I-Pace race series alongside Formula E. We'll see if any further announcements are made about the racing version of the car and the series. Related Video:
Jaguar F-Type Coupe spotted testing
Thu, 09 May 2013The automotive world has been hot on fire with the Jaguar F-Type of late. We're still recovering from the excitement of driving Jaguar's new sports car for the first time, and recently we had a predictive look at a coupe version. As it turns out, those 'patent sketches' were just a warm up for the real deal F-Type Coupe, as this brand new set of spy images proves out.
Word from our shooter is that security around the F coupe was and is really tight. The photographer had to hide in the cargo area of his clandestine SUV, just to catch these few, not-perfectly-clear images (that odd color your see is window tint). Still, the photos are good enough to see that the rakish silhouette of the hardtop is going to do justice to the convertible. In fact, the new top seems to flow quite perfectly into the car's rear haunches.
Expect that the F-Type Coupe will share an engine lineup with the roadster, meaning both a naturally aspirated and a supercharged V6, as well as a V8 option. Hot R and R-S versions of the Jaguar coupe are a virtual lock, too, though how far down the product pipeline they are is unclear.
