NO ACCIDENTS NO DENTS ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT CLEAN ENGINE COMPARTMENT NO WEAR IN TRUNK UNUSED SPARE ALL FINEST CLEANERS (MOSTLY JAGUAR) USED. NEVER ANY JUNK PRODUCTS. ALL MANUALS AND KEYS. (keys are in mint condition; I even put the everyday key in a cloth mini pouch so it would not get wear on it) EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED Had a Jaguar (not a 3rd party) extended warranty up until 100,000 miles, so anything that need replacement to that point was done. First owner had Cilajet Aviation Grade Sealant done to through the Jaguar Dealer to protect all exterior parts. The only reason I am selling the car is I just purchase a used 2011 Jaguar XKR175 Coupe (limited to 175 in the US). I have been waiting to get an XKR for years. I know Jaguar's very well, have had in the past, XJ8, XK8, XJR and over course this beautiful XF Supercharged. Please do not bid unless you are completely serious. Anyone with feedback lower than 10 must contact me before bidding otherwise the bid may be canceled. The XF Supercharged is completely loaded and has more features than most vehicles on the most vehicles on the market today. Please see pictures. Jaguar serviced only from day one. I have all service records including from the first owner. Purchased from a Jaguar dealer. Always synthetic oil. New Ceramic Brakes and rotors New All Season High Performance Tires Floor mats are perfect since I put a rubber mat down to reduce wear. Clear 3M Bra on 1/4 of hood, front bumper, tips of front fenders; very minimal and minor rock chips in a few locations (nothing major) See pictures, will add more shortly. Only known issues: Very Minor curb rash from the original owner which I touched up with exact Jaguar paint. Didn't want a rim guy messing up the original Jaguar finish by spraying junk paint that will eventually peal and discolor. Told you I was picky. Very Minor wear (in color only) on drivers seat where the belt area would meet the seat. This is NOT a rip or major imperfection. Once again please see the vehicle in person and you will truly see how obsessive I am. Thanks for viewing my auction. I have sold other rare vehicles on eBay with excellent feedback. I AM NOT A DEALER; Average person who enjoys vehicles. Can provide references if needed. Please contact me anytime 302 290 0039 Delaware or by eBay email. No warranty but the vehicle is truly in excellent condition. |

Jaguar-Land Rover will use recycled waste to make parts for future models
Thu, Oct 1 2020Jaguar-Land Rover's future models will be partially made of junk. The company announced it's working on integrating a recycled material named Econyl into its manufacturing process in the coming years. Created in 2011 by Italy-based Aquafil, Econyl is a fiber made with a blend of recycled industrial plastics, fabric offcuts sourced from clothing manufacturers, and discarded fishing nets aimlessly floating around the ocean. It's more eco-friendly to produce than oil-based fibers, according to Jaguar, and it helps clean up the planet. Jaguar and Land Rover will use Econyl to make floor mats in the not-too-distant future. Neither company listed the models they'll put the material in, but it's reasonable to assume recycled floor mats will be available in the next-generation XJ, which will be electric, and the next-generation Range Rover. Both will be released in 2021. Eco-friendly materials are slowly but surely spreading across the luxury car segment. Jaguar already offers the I-Pace with a Kvadrat upholstery that combines regular wool and up to 53 recycled plastic bottles per car. Audi's fourth-generation A3 is optionally available with an upholstery made largely using recycled plastic bottles, and Volvo estimates at least 25% of the plastics in its cars will be recycled starting in 2025. Environmentalist organizations are putting an increasing amount of pressure on carmakers to deliver so-called vegan interiors. A group called EarthSight recently accused several companies (including Jaguar-Land Rover and BMW) of using leather from cattle raised on illegally logged lands in Paraguay. Representatives for the British company stressed they found no evidence to verify EarthSight's claims. Related Video:
Jaguar Land Rover data leak reveals employee records, upcoming layoffs
Fri, May 25 2018A massive data leak has revealed the personnel files of hundreds of employees at Jaguar Land Rover's factory in Solihull, England. The documents reveal details such as sick days used, disciplinary issues and — most notably — red lines indicating potential firings in the weeks or months ahead. In total, the personal records of more than 600 workers were released. JLR is scrambling to contain the crisis. The breach was first reported by the Huffington Post UK, with the automaker initially claiming the story was "fake news." That publicity gaff certainly didn't help matters, especially for employees staring at their name with a red line slashed across it. Last month, the British automaker had said it would be eliminating roughly 1,000 employees at factories in the U.K. The Solihull plant, which produces models like the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Jaguar F-Pace and Jaguar XE, was among those mentioned in the statement. JLR, which is owned by the Indian conglomerate Tata Motors, is facing a steep drop in sales, particularly in its home market. The main culprits include a huge slump in sales of diesel-powered vehicles - a vital part of JLR's business in the U.K. and throughout Europe - along with fears about how the upcoming "Brexit" will affect business operations. In the HuffPost UK story, one worker called the situation "disgusting" and "embarrassing," adding that people at the factory now know whether they, or their colleagues, are soon due to lose their job. Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
