2000 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 V8 meticulously maintained with super low original miles. All manuals, books and service records. British racing green with light beige leather. I bought this vehicle a few years ago from an 80 year old woman in Ct with only 17k original miles at the time. It has always been garaged and pampered since new. Ice cold A/C, Moonroof, Kenwood CD player, factory Jaguar contoured splash guards all around, also has Sirius control unit if you want to subscribe. I've replaced many parts in past two years: tires, coil packs (all 8) even though only one was bad, new coolant sensor and pipes, new coolant reservoir, belts, oil always changed every 3k miles, two new window regulators, transmission professionally serviced last year (this year Jag has a Ford transmission), new front brakes (mechanic says it will be due rear ones in about 5k miles), new wiper blades, new air filter, fuel filter and cabin filter, all receipts kept neatly in chronological order of mileage. It is accident free. Original mats always covered by a second rubber set, front and back. Two sets of keys with factory remotes and the original valet key..It runs amazing and I have recently driven it on many long trips from Long Island, NY to Albany (numerous times), Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maryland, Boston, Binghampton and Geneseo. . .car drives amazing, super reliable and can be driven anywhere with confidence. I am a car enthusiast, so I have always been on top of every service or repair it has ever needed. Selling only due to new car.  please no texts (I am unable to answer them)…and I will only be able to check ebay E-mails on a limited basis…. so I suggest if you're really interested in buying this car, then call me at (516)503-4297 before 10PM eastern standard time and we can discuss it, and I can walk around car and describe any tiny nicks/imperfections car might have, thanks.

Jaguar to follow up with larger J-Pace crossover

Mon, Jun 1 2015

Jaguar is about to launch its first foray into the crossover market (that's the C-X17 Concept you see above) with the upcoming debut of the F-Pace, but that won't be its last. According to the UK's Car magazine, plans are already underway to launch a bigger J-Pace crossover as well. Just as the F-Pace is set to serve as the high-riding counterpart to the XF sedan, so too would the J-Pace align itself with the upcoming new XJ – in a strategy not unlike what Mercedes is taking with its crossovers, aligning the GLE (nee M-Class) with the E-Class, the upcoming GLS (GL-Class) to the S-Class and so on. That would make the J-Pace a rival to the likes of the aforementioned GLS and Audi Q7. Tipped to launch in 2019, the Jaguar J-Pace is expected to borrow its aluminum underpinnings from the flagship Range Rover, but take a sportier, more dynamic approach than the top-of-the-line Landie. Expect V6 and V8 engines to be offered, alongside diesel and hybrid powertrain options. The J-Pace has reportedly won out over other proposals to expand the XJ family with coupe, convertible and wagon variants, as the crossover is expected to drive higher sales. Here's hoping those revenues could be poured back into those back-burnered projects, too. Related Video:

Thieves stole $3.7 million worth of Jaguar Land Rover engines

Fri, Feb 3 2017

This past Tuesday was not a good one for Jaguar Land Rover. According to British news source Birmingham Mail, just over $3.7 million worth of engines were stolen from the company's factory in Solihull, England. Reportedly, the thieves drove up to the facility in a stolen semi-truck, found a trailer full of engines, hooked it up, and drove off. The thieves did this twice in one night, with the same truck, and got the first trailer in just six minutes. Perhaps more shocking is that Birmingham Mail reports this is the second time a theft of this type has occurred at the facility. The previous time happened in almost exactly the same way, but the engines taken were valued at just over $1.2 million, and five people were convicted of the crime. Currently, local police are looking for the latest suspects and the engines. The trailers were found, but were empty. We got in touch with a Jaguar representative who provided us the company's official statement: "We can confirm that we are working closely with West Midlands Police to investigate the theft of engines from the Solihull manufacturing plant. A reward is on offer to anyone who has information which leads to the successful recovery of these engines. It would be inappropriate for us to make any further comment whilst this investigation is ongoing." This was the only statement he would provide, and didn't provide answers as to what engines were stolen and if there would be any impact on manufacturing or vehicle deliveries. But if you're in the UK, and you've got a tip, let the cops know. Jaguar XE SVR to challenge M3, C63 with supercharged V8 power

Tue, Oct 14 2014

Jaguar has a healthy powertrain range lined up for its new XE, including an array of four-cylinder engines and a supercharged 3.0-liter six that will, for now, serve as the range-topping offering in the XE S. But Car and Driver claims to have it on good authority that an even more powerful eight-cylinder version is in the works, as well. According to C/D, the XE's engine bay has been designed to accommodate the company's ubiquitous 5.0-liter V8 engine, which in the larger XF is offered in several states of tune, including the XF Supercharged with 470 horsepower, the XFR with 510 hp and the flagship XFR-S with 550 hp. Just which version (or versions) would be offered in the XE remains to be seen, but even in its lowest-spec supercharged form, the 470-hp version would already be enough to challenge the 425-hp BMW M3 and the base 469-hp version of the new Mercedes-AMG C63. If Jaguar wants to take on the C63 S, however, it will need to shoehorn in one of the more powerful versions. In the end, Coventry's new Special Vehicle Operations division may opt to offer two versions, like it does with the XFR and XFR-S. Expect the top version, however much muscle it packs, to wear the British automaker's new SVR badge. It just may take a few years before it does so.
