Very Complete Project. No Reserve on 2040-cars
Yankton, South Dakota, United States
A running, drivable 1969 XKE Roadster that was disassembled for restoration. Grit blasted and primed. Very complete. Some of the rust issues have been addressed - some not! Floors have been replaced at some time in the past. Boot floors in good condition. Hood has been modified to early model covered headlights. Some unrepaired damaged to lower front of hood. Mileage listed is not correct. Had to put something in! I will attempt to answer any questions up to 12 hours before auction close. This is a NO RESERVE auction - highest bidder will own the car upon full payment. If you have less than a 2 feedback do not bid!! Your bid will be canceled!! I will assist in shipping at your expense. Just found out that if you go to xkedata, com and enter the vin# you will see pictures and comments from just before I purchased the car in the fall of 2003. I drove the car less than 100 miles after purchase! |

Watch Jaguar reveal the C-X17 Concept live, right now!
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Jaguar is set to reveal the C-X17 concept crossover in just a few short moments. The show starts at 11:00 AM EST, which is supper time in Frankfurt where the reveal is taking place. It's almost lunch time here on the East Coast of the US, so enjoy your sammy and a bag of chips while you sit back and watch Jaguar show us all some new technology and possibly an entirely new direction for the brand. Our own article on the Jaguar C-X17 concept will go live on Autoblog at 11:30 AM EST, and stay tuned for own live images of the crossover concept tomorrow from the show floor.
Jaguar F-Pace snapped inside and out
Tue, Apr 28 2015We've seen the Jaguar F-Pace undergoing testing before: at the Nurburgring, in the snow, and wearing a variety of different bodywork as development has progressed. But we've never seen it this close, and we've never seen it inside, until now. This latest batch of spy shots shows Coventry's new crossover out on the road undergoing warm-weather testing in what looks like Spain. It's tellingly parked in between a Jaguar XE and Range Rover Evoque, the gap between which the F-Pace is expected to bridge. It's still wearing heavy camouflage, of course, but this is our first glimpse inside the cockpit. The cabin rather similar to the one on the new XF sedan – and hardly any more upright, either, which tells us a bit about the handling character Jaguar is going after with the F-Pace. Expect to see the finished product at the Frankfurt Motor Show this coming fall – the same show where it unveiled the C-X17 concept two years ago to preview its arrival. Related Video:
Jaguar F-Type Coupe proves sexy can't be disguised
Wed, 19 Jun 2013Jaguar's new F-Type is a pretty potent little pouncer. And while we do love a good roadster, many of us at Autoblog are perhaps more excited about the upcoming hardtop version of Jag's stylish new entry-level sports car. Why? Because even here in heavily camouflaged prototype form, the thing looks really, really good - the sleek roofline blending rather nicely into the F-Type's shapely rump, allowing for better distinction of its pronounced hips over the rear wheel wells.
Mechanically speaking, the F-Type Coupe should be identical to its droptop sibling. That means the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engine lineup should carry over unchanged, though we've heard rumors about a four-cylinder application as well. There's also talk of hotter R, R-S or R-S GT models coming down the pipeline, and based on what we've experienced in things like the XKR-S, we certainly can't deny the allure of such a model.
It's unclear exactly when Jaguar will show the production F-Type Coupe (at the Frankfurt Motor Show, perhaps?), but the car is expected to go on sale sometime in 2014. Check it out in our latest spy gallery, above.
