Isuzu Rodeo Sports 2002 2 Doors Power And Winter Drive. Dual Sunroof. Bull Guard on 2040-cars
Parkville, Maryland, United States
NOTE: This vehicle is not 4wd but It's for off road. Great in mountains and very fast in the highway. This vehicle is equipped with POWER DRIVE and WINTER DRIVE for better traction driving in worse condition scenario. This vehicle is dual moon roofs that both can be taken off "THE shield Plastic and The Glass" you have the option to make this vehicle like a "JEEP" if you take the whole back off the ISUZU RODEO SPORT. This vehicle is hard to find because they no longer make it anymore. One of the best, plus this vehicle SURVIVES the Limits. This means, that this kind of vehicles die hard cars. This vehicle is 2002. I don't think they made other ones. Only for the regular family with the 4 door version of this vehicle. So please read everything first before bidding. So you know what you're buying. I don't really want to sell this because I'm a Isuzu Rodeo family. We owned two. The 4 and 2 doors version. It's nice to have the same cars at your house you know. Both vehicles served us well. This vehicle is not 100k yet. But I can tell you this! that this kind of vehicle will last 300k to 500k on the road. This is the kind of vehicles they usually drive in South Africa and Philippines or in general secluded places around the world. Great stuff. Awesome vehicle to have. Auction started at 200 dollars. Bid with confidence. Note: There will be things in the future that need some fixing. But you don't have to. But it would be nice to maintain the car and keep it in great shape and up to date so you can reach the 500K mark. I would. When we learn to respect what we have, it will eventually help us in the future. This is how I treat this vehicle and all of the things I received in my life. But everyone is different. Lastly, This vehicle is free oil change, car wash, free brake pads and "ENGINE FOR LIFE." Everything I mentioned here is for real. The question is! if I transfer this vehicle to you, does this still apply? Hmm.. I hope it does. It's guaranteed for life. Anyhow, Thanks and good luck. Please take good care of her! You will love it and it will serve you well in the future. Isuzu Rodeo Sports 2002, 2 Doors, in great shape with a lot of extra from Jonesjunction. GM recalls over 230,000 more Trailblazer-family SUVs over door electronics
Sun, 16 Jun 2013Back in August, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall on the General Motors GMT360 SUVs (Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X) ranging from the 2005 to 2007 model years and the 2006 GMT370 SUVs (Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL) due to potential fires associated with the driver's door module. Initially limited to 250,000 units sold or registered in 20 Snow Belt states (and the District of Columbia), the recall has now been expanded to include an additional 193,000 of these SUVs in the US and, according to The Detroit News, 40,000 more sold outside the US, including Canada and Mexico.
Like the original recall, the issue is still a faulty driver's door module that can short out, which could lead to a fire. The Detroit News is reporting that, out of the 443,000 units being recalled, GM says that there were 58 fires that caused 11 minor injuries, and the expanded recall accounted for six fires and one injury. Despite the lower number of fires, the recall notice recommends that owners park their vehicles until the recall repairs has been performed.
On recalled units with functional modules, the repair consists of a protective coating being applied to the module, while vehicles with modules that are not working properly will have the driver's door module replaced. The official recall notice is posted below, and it includes contact information for customers of all five brands.
GM-Isuzu joint venture assembles 1.5-millionth Duramax diesel
Wed, 21 Nov 2012General Motors and Isuzu have officially stitched together 1.5 million Duramax 6.6-liter diesel engines. The joint venture between the two manufacturers started in 1998, and now the DMAX plant employs 517 workers in a 584,000 square-foot facility. GM introduced the Duramax turbo diesel engine to the US market for the 2001 model year, and it can be found trucks like the Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD as well as the full-size Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. In its current configuration, the engine yields 397 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque at just 1,600 rpm.
Of course, the big oil burner has plenty of tuning potential as well. As you may recall, a Duramax-powered truck recently set the land speed record for towing a vehicle at 142 miles per hour.
GM owns 60 percent of the joint venture, with Isuzu laying claim to the remaining 40 percent. The facility is located in Chicago. You can take a look at the brief press release below for more information on the milestone.
Junkyard Gem: 1990 Geo Storm GSi
Thu, Dec 6 2018General Motors created the Geo division in 1989, to sell rebadged Suzukis, Toyotas, and Isuzus in the United States. Most of these cars were snoresville econoboxes, but two Geo models got high-performance upgrades and GSi badging: the Prizm GSi (aka Toyota Corolla GT-S) and the Storm GSi (aka Isuzu Impulse). We saw a discarded Prizm GSi in this series last year, and now it's the Storm GSi's turn, with this '90 in a Phoenix self-service yard. The Storm GSi had a DOHC four-cylinder Isuzu engine making 130 horsepower, which was excellent for a 1990 car weighing a mere 2,392 pounds. The 2,174-pound 1990 Honda CRX Si had a mere 108 horsepower (and two seats), and it cost $11,130 versus the Storm GSi's just-slightly-higher $11,650 price tag. Of course, Isuzus never developed quite the reputation for reliability enjoyed by Hondas. This Isuzu notched up an impressive final mileage figure, though. The Storm sold for just the 1990 through 1993 model years, and the GSi still has a devoted following to this day. The interior is straight-up late-1980s-style Japanese-econobox stuff, with plenty of tough gray plastic. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
