Have all funds in order and be ready to complete the transaction as per the terms payment methods and deadlines if you are the winning bidder. Thank you 1994 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2 V6 Automatic Transmission 4 Wheel Drive I purchased this SUV as a favor to a customer, for his sons first vehicle. We went through it in the shop only to have the kids mother end the deal because the SUV is not new enough. Therefore it is being offered for auction to get back PART of what I have invested in the vehicle, parts and labor. The SUV has a very solid body.It spent a good portion of its life in Florida. The only sign of any rust are a few small bubbles on the edge of the hood. The doors, rockers, fenders, undercarriage and frame are excellent. Paint is nice, it has a very presentable appearance. It does have some dings , nicks and scratches from use of a 20 year old vehicle. Interior is amazingly clean. The only wear on any of it that shows is the edge of the drivers seat, which was repaired before we acquired the SUV. It has many options, power windows, locks, mirrors etc. The only thing that I know that does not work is the passenger front power lock. I am not sure if the A/C needs a charge, it has just been far too cold to even tell. Here is a list of what we have done to the SUV New radiator New Alternator New Starter New belts New Universal Joints Fresh Oil and lube New O2 Sensor Transmission filter and fluid change Full new Exhaust System except for the cat new Fuel Filter More recent battery New lift supports on rear window New Windshield The brakes in front are @30% left, the rears are new Rear tires are about 60% left, fronts are about 40% The real kicker is that it did not need all of this, it was requested as the kid was going to use it to go to college and his father wanted it to be more dependable. I have personally driven this around town about 200 miles. It seems to run and drive really good. I have not taken it out on the highway for long periods. I have driven it 55 to 60 on local roads and as I said, it performs good. Long distance travel to go home would be up to the buyer. If it were me, I would trust it to go anywhere but it is 20 years old with high highway miles so keep that in mind. I am going to be in and out all week. Please feel free to ask any questions as I may have missed something important to you. If you need to view it BEFORE you bid, please ask and if I can fit you in while I am here this week, I will be more than happy to do so. Thanks for looking, please REVIEW ALL TERMS AND PAYMENT METHODS/DEADLINES Thank you!! |

Junkyard Gem: 1992 Geo Storm
Mon, May 15 2017GM's Geo brand existed from the 1989 through 1997 model years. While mostly remembered today for the Suzuki Cultus-based Metro (which continued to be sold with Chevrolet badging until 2001), there were also Geo Prizms (California-built Toyota Corollas), Geo Spectrums (Isuzu I-Mark), Geo Trackers (Suzuki Sidekick), and Geo Storms (Isuzu Impulse). Storms are very rare now, but I found this one in Colorado last week. The idea of the Geo brand was that it would lure young car buyers in a way that wouldn't be possible with stodgy brands such as Oldsmobile or Buick. While GM never sold as many Geos as hoped, enough hit American roads that they were pretty numerous for a while. 1980s-style pink-and-blue graphics remained relevant into the early 1990s. I'm not sure if these pink decal stripes were done at the factory, at a dealership, or later on in someone's back yard. The Storm GSi was the factory-hot-rod version, but this is an ordinary Storm with the 95-horsepower, 12-valve engine. Automatic transmission, of course. It never made it to 100,000 miles. The car seems to be in good shape, so perhaps something broke at about age 10 and it sat in a garage for the next 15 years. This content is hosted by a third party. Junkyard Gem: 1990 Geo Storm GSi
Thu, Dec 6 2018General Motors created the Geo division in 1989, to sell rebadged Suzukis, Toyotas, and Isuzus in the United States. Most of these cars were snoresville econoboxes, but two Geo models got high-performance upgrades and GSi badging: the Prizm GSi (aka Toyota Corolla GT-S) and the Storm GSi (aka Isuzu Impulse). We saw a discarded Prizm GSi in this series last year, and now it's the Storm GSi's turn, with this '90 in a Phoenix self-service yard. The Storm GSi had a DOHC four-cylinder Isuzu engine making 130 horsepower, which was excellent for a 1990 car weighing a mere 2,392 pounds. The 2,174-pound 1990 Honda CRX Si had a mere 108 horsepower (and two seats), and it cost $11,130 versus the Storm GSi's just-slightly-higher $11,650 price tag. Of course, Isuzus never developed quite the reputation for reliability enjoyed by Hondas. This Isuzu notched up an impressive final mileage figure, though. The Storm sold for just the 1990 through 1993 model years, and the GSi still has a devoted following to this day. The interior is straight-up late-1980s-style Japanese-econobox stuff, with plenty of tough gray plastic. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. GM, Isuzu shacking up on global midsize pickup development
Sat, Oct 4 2014General Motors and Isuzu might not be financial partners anymore, but it would seem that all those years working together still leaves a strong bond between them to work on new vehicles. Their latest collaboration is co-developing a next-generation midsize pickup to launch at a still-unannounced point in the future. Potential buyers of the upcoming Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon have no reason to fear their purchase becoming obsolete, though, because there are no plans to sell these jointly created models in North America. As part of the deal, GM and Isuzu have already agreed to share components across the trucks and purchase the parts together to get a better deal, according to Reuters. However, the actual manufacturing was agreed to be kept separate. The first inklings of this deal cropped up a year ago when the two automakers signed a memorandum of understanding to co-develop a new pickup. The future GM and Isuzu models are joining the mini-boom of midsize trucks that is about to hit around the world. Nissan already announced its latest Navara, and Toyota was spotted testing replacements for both the Hilux and Tacoma. Plus, Honda has hinted at a new Ridgeline sometime fairly soon in the US.
