Isuzu Rodeo Sports 2002 2 Doors Power And Winter Drive. Dual Sunroof. Bull Guard on 2040-cars
Parkville, Maryland, United States
NOTE: This vehicle is not 4wd but It's for off road. Great in mountains and very fast in the highway. This vehicle is equipped with POWER DRIVE and WINTER DRIVE for better traction driving in worse condition scenario. This vehicle is dual moon roofs that both can be taken off "THE shield Plastic and The Glass" you have the option to make this vehicle like a "JEEP" if you take the whole back off the ISUZU RODEO SPORT. This vehicle is hard to find because they no longer make it anymore. One of the best, plus this vehicle SURVIVES the Limits. This means, that this kind of vehicles die hard cars. This vehicle is 2002. I don't think they made other ones. Only for the regular family with the 4 door version of this vehicle. So please read everything first before bidding. So you know what you're buying. I don't really want to sell this because I'm a Isuzu Rodeo family. We owned two. The 4 and 2 doors version. It's nice to have the same cars at your house you know. Both vehicles served us well. This vehicle is not 100k yet. But I can tell you this! that this kind of vehicle will last 300k to 500k on the road. This is the kind of vehicles they usually drive in South Africa and Philippines or in general secluded places around the world. Great stuff. Awesome vehicle to have. Auction started at 200 dollars. Bid with confidence. Note: There will be things in the future that need some fixing. But you don't have to. But it would be nice to maintain the car and keep it in great shape and up to date so you can reach the 500K mark. I would. When we learn to respect what we have, it will eventually help us in the future. This is how I treat this vehicle and all of the things I received in my life. But everyone is different. Lastly, This vehicle is free oil change, car wash, free brake pads and "ENGINE FOR LIFE." Everything I mentioned here is for real. The question is! if I transfer this vehicle to you, does this still apply? Hmm.. I hope it does. It's guaranteed for life. Anyhow, Thanks and good luck. Please take good care of her! You will love it and it will serve you well in the future. Isuzu Rodeo Sports 2002, 2 Doors, in great shape with a lot of extra from Jonesjunction. Junkyard Gem: 1998 Isuzu Oasis
Sun, Jun 16 2019When I'm crawling through a big self-service wrecking yard (as I do at least once a week) in search of interesting discarded vehicles, the top of my "look for" list always includes weird and obscure examples of badge engineering, the weirder and more obscure the better. So far the Nissan-made Suzuki Equator has eluded me, but I have managed to shoot such junkyard badge-engineering oddities as the Mitsubishi Precis (Hyundai Excel), Acura SLX (Isuzu Trooper), Saab 9-2X (Subaru Impreza) and Saturn Astra (Opel Astra). Isuzu's dire need for a minivan in the late 1990s led to a deal with Honda to sell the first-generation Odyssey as the Oasis (even as the Trooper became the Honda Passport). Few bought the Oasis, but I found one in a Denver yard a few months back. Pure Honda throughout, down to the VTEC badges on the engine. This is the 2.3-liter F23 four, rated at 150 horsepower for 1998. Sold new in Denver, will be crushed in Denver. Though Americans bought many a Geo or Chevy built by Isuzu during the 1980s and 1990s (not to mention the big-selling Isuzu-made Chevy LUV truck of the 1970s), the Isuzu brand never really caught on over here. By 2009, Isuzu was gone. The first-generation Odyssey was well-made and efficient, but it was designed for the Japanese home market and thus was too small for most American van shoppers in 1998 (most of whom were moving to SUVs around that time, anyway). You could fit a lot of people and gear in this small-footprint machine, but that was more important in crowded Japanese cities than in sprawling American suburbia. Collectible? Not at all. But an interesting piece of automotive history. I can't find any Oasis ads online, so let's watch a JDM commercial for the first-gen Odyssey, featuring the Addams Family. GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.
GM recalls over 230,000 more Trailblazer-family SUVs over door electronics
Sun, 16 Jun 2013Back in August, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall on the General Motors GMT360 SUVs (Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X) ranging from the 2005 to 2007 model years and the 2006 GMT370 SUVs (Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL) due to potential fires associated with the driver's door module. Initially limited to 250,000 units sold or registered in 20 Snow Belt states (and the District of Columbia), the recall has now been expanded to include an additional 193,000 of these SUVs in the US and, according to The Detroit News, 40,000 more sold outside the US, including Canada and Mexico.
Like the original recall, the issue is still a faulty driver's door module that can short out, which could lead to a fire. The Detroit News is reporting that, out of the 443,000 units being recalled, GM says that there were 58 fires that caused 11 minor injuries, and the expanded recall accounted for six fires and one injury. Despite the lower number of fires, the recall notice recommends that owners park their vehicles until the recall repairs has been performed.
On recalled units with functional modules, the repair consists of a protective coating being applied to the module, while vehicles with modules that are not working properly will have the driver's door module replaced. The official recall notice is posted below, and it includes contact information for customers of all five brands.
