1977 International Scout II, currently garaged in western Maryland (Oakland, MD zip 21550). Equipped with the original 345 V8 engine, dual exhaust, Chrysler 727 TorqueFlite 3 speed automatic transmission, Dana 20 2-spd transfer case, Dana 44 front and rear, rear step bumper, front chrome bumper, luggage rack, rear sliding quarter windows, deluxe interior with original cloth bucket seats and center console, A/C (no longer used, needs work), pwr steering, pwr brakes. There is rust, visually the rocker and quarter panels are in bad condition, see videos on youtube; overview at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63muuDTJXHs , rust at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA5RozirRpo , engine at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcA-thPW0zs added starter button http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opQQ85McpYw and 4WD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y97iced3YoM. Some body mounts were welded 20 years ago. Bondo work and painted in 1993 when it then won 2nd place stock at Scout Nationals. Also are rust spots around gas filler tube and lower corner of front windshield (driver's side), see pictures. Top's gutter showing some signs of rust in the back top corners (see pictures). Tires are very recent (see pictures). The vehicle runs very well. The ignition wiring circuit does have an intermittent fault so a starter button was installed to bypass the fault (see video). Newer (circa 1980) distributor for its electronic ignition installed to replace the original '77 elec ign on the firewall (see video). Some other added features are door grab handles, dome light, cup holders, roll bar (steel), CB radio, parts & manuals included (see pics), also has a locking ski rack. Top is metal, but the top lift gate is fiberglass. I bought this vehicle in the early 80's in CA and understood it was in Alaska originally. On-line photo appraisal done (copy available by request) by Scout Connection valued at $3,500-$4,000. So much of this vehicle is just great, except the rust, please see videos and pictures. Any questions feel free. No reserve. Sold "AS IS".
