For sale here is a 1977 Scout Traveler. It has an automatic 345 V8 that runs strong- very fun to drive.
It has a 2 inch lift on it with new springs and shocks. Tires have lots of tread- almost new. I spent $4500. on body work. All rust areas were cut out and new metal was welded in. With the exception of where the shell sits on the bed. The body shop did not remove the top while doing the work, so never saw the rust. There is also a small area, silver dollar size, between the rear bumper and the rear door that got missed. Vehicle has been garaged ever since the bodywork. There is a cheap paint job on it that looks good, but is not very durable. It has new: weatherstripping side marker lights windshield wiper kit anti fatigue/ sound deadening mat throughout the vehicle fuel pump rebuilt carb. side view mirrors glove box window felts Pertronix ignition I have: the back seat ( in great shape), four original hubcaps, and the spare tire. This Scout was in good original condition when I bought it. It is far from perfect, but in VERY good shape. |
