For auction with no reserve is this very original condition running driving 1967 International Scout 800. I consider this Scout to still be in some what of a project stage. Please read entire listing for more details. This vehicle comes equipped with a quick release tow bar for another pick up option for winning bidder. Vehicle looks good i get compliments all the time but be aware that paint is new but is not perfect. I planned on keeping this Scout until another old 4x4 vehicle has caught my interest. So i had it painted to be driven. Meaning its paint is shiny, good quality primer and two stage paint was used, just didn't go for a show quality paint job since i had planned on using this vehicle for off road fun. Scout was repainted back with its original Scout red color and white top. Before paint, it had minimal body damage that needed repair. Passenger rear had a dent and about four small areas that had some rust that needed cut out and metal welded back in. Very clean body all in all. Very little rust was found. This Scout is from southern Colorado where we have a dry climate and cars are not prone to rust. This Scout is very solid and not a rust bucket. Still has all original floors. No repairs except for one very small 2 inch by 2 inch area on drivers side floor that was repaired with steel welded back in. I tried to include a pic of this area from underneath vehicle. Please ask for any specific pics of any certain areas that you may want a better view of. The interior of this Scout is mostly stock. Had whole inside repainted red. Again interior paint is not show quality but looks good. Added rubber floor mats that i cut out of a truck bed protector. They do the job. Seats are in need of reupholstering. Frames are good and they are comfortable so i just put some cheap covers on them and use them the way they are. Glove box insert is in ok shape. It works.  Heater works but does need duct work all replaced. Wipers do not work. Actually they might just be an easy fix, i just had planned on doing the upgrade to electric ones instead of the vacuum style it has currently. All gauges work except Amp gauge and oil pressure. Amp gauge probably needs replaced entirely since it appears water got into it at one time or another. Not sure. Fuel gauge works fine. Both fuel tanks have been cleaned and both function. I regularly only used the drivers side though. Speedometer is a bit off. It works but registers about 35 mph when going probably more like 50mph. This never bothered me so just left it alone. Not like Scout is real fast anyway. Door locks don't work with key. Driver and passenger door glass both have scratches from scraping ice i would assume. Can see scratches in a couple pics. No big deal just should mention because they are there. Both door windows roll up and down fine. Both doors and back hatch and tail gate all open and function properly. Vehicle has factory 266 V-8 engine that runs very well. Starts every time with no knocking or lifter noise. Does not overheat. Has rebuilt original radiator. Boiled and rodded. No smoke and does not use oil. Engine has had most all gaskets changed at some point.  Leaks a little oil but not very much. Exhaust system has been patched in a couple spots but overall still solid exhaust system. No leaks runs quietly. Has three speed manual transmission. Shifts fine and has complete new clutch installed. 4x4 works great. Hubs go in and out like they should and twin stick transfer case shifts smooth to all positions. 2 high-4 high-4 low. Has developed a bit of a seal leak on the front output shaft of the transfer. Not a big deal just thought i should mention. Does not leak much. Brakes work great stops nice. Tires are the original tube style on the original rims. All four tires hold air and have great tread but the outside sidewalls of all four tires show weathering. This has not stopped me from driving the Scout anywhere. Has good spare that holds air. Has all original axles underneath. They say an upgrade of axles from a Scout II is the thing to do. I personally think it would benefit from a small lift or axles or something. Front end is a little soft in my opinion. Bottoms kind easily depending how rough of terrain your on. All fluids have been replaced or topped off. Including both axles trans and transfer. All lights on vehicle work as they should brake, tail, turn, and even license plate light works. Headlights work fine on high and low. Many new parts on this Scout. Many things this Scout still could use. This Scout is a great running vehicle sold as is as a on going project. Runs down the road like an old Scout. Drive while you restore or customize. Have a clean open Colorado title in my name. Please ask any questions and i can be available to show vehicle and schedule it up to be inspected any time during the auction duration. Shipping is entirely the buyers responsibility, cost and arrangements. Remember this Scout comes with a handy tow bar setup so it could be towed home. I would trust this Scout to go anywhere but it wont get there fast. If you have far to go i would definitely consider shipping, trailer, or the tow bar set up. I will however assist in any other way i can. I am a very reasonable person. Pay Pal deposit of $500 within 24hrs of auction end and full payment to be made at or before time of vehicle pick up. We can work details out over phone ect.... As i said i am a very reasonable person. Thank you and good luck bidding. NO RESERVE!!!!!!! Bid to own it.
