I'm selling our small International Scout that was original purchased by my father when I was very young. It has always been in our hands, and in dry storage for many years. Only 31440 miles on it. We only used the truck as a utility vehicle during the summer months in Southern Maine, and it was stored inside during the winter months, thus the very low milage on it. It was used in a seasonal campground which we would shut down after Labor Day. Always a first starter, and very reliable. We routinely changed the oil, and did maintenance as needed. We replaced the king pins several years ago, as they were getting pretty old. My father had a Ramsey winch, which was a factory installed option at the time. It is PTO driven from the transmission. Very strong truck. 4 x 4 also. All original and really not used hard. We used to park many RV's with it, and only to run errands. I have had it in my small barn for over 15 years, and selling it due to space constrictions, and lack of interest. I only recently put it outside a couple of weeks ago. Hate to see it go! I would like to see it in someone's hands that would restore it and put it to good use. It needs floor boards, and some sheet metal on the passenger side quarter panels. It starts OK and runs but needs to be gone through. I would make a point of starting the truck regularly over the years, which would be one every couple of months, just to make sure that it would not get too gummed up, but with Ethanol in today's fuel, the carb would need to be rebuilt, and the tank flushed out, as I did several years ago. I switched the wheels/tires with what is on the truck presently, since I was using the vehicle to gather firewood locally. I needed traction and ground clearance, but I still have the original hub caps and wheels. All included if need be. Good running little engine too. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'm sure that I can tell you lots more about it as the listing runs through. Thanks for looking!
