1971 IH SCOUT 800B 2dr with removable hard top convertible travelall 4X4 wagon with rolebar.(rear wheels permanent, front engaged manually by shifting gearbox to either 4hi or 4lo then locking front hubs) original owner took really good care of it, he kept all receipts showing that all scheduled maintenance was done from day one also just did a clutch kit and rebuilt something to do with the 4wheel drive. my mother is
second owner and she used it as her daily driver for about 8 months then was forced to park it but just before she had to park it she put new 31" allterrain bfgoodrich t/a tires had the holley carb rebuilt and replaced the leaf springs. it was parked for almost 3 1/2 yrs with being started maybe 3 times. i just recently put it back on the road. it runs and drives great strong 304 v8 great clutch and tranny and good working 4 wheel drive. the extra tank on drivers side needs some work so only using main tank. carb needs to be primed in order to start because the gas line needs to be replaced($20-$40) and the carb needs a rebuild kit (under $50) and a complete tune up and coolant flush is definite recommended. i did do the oil and plugs and cleaned out the gas tank.
bluebook in good condition is $10,150.00 and fair condition is $5,700.00 it's definitely in the best fair condition there is.
