I have an Awesome Scout II for sale. It has the venerable 345 that has been resealed, with a minor oil weep. It leaves to leaks in the garage. Very clean underneath. The oil still comes out clean when checking the oil and draining it, also has great compression. I have also always added a quart above the recommended amount of motor oil which is recommended if you are going to do highway driving, which I do and it cruises great down the freeway. It has the 727 Automatic transmission that has been rebuilt and had a summit racing pan installed on it. I took off the stock Holley 22XX carburetor and put on a very nice Holley 2300 2 Barrel out of a 3/4 ton 1210 International. The carburetor is awesome but the manual choke moves sometimes and needs to be adjusted sometimes. I haven't had the time to take it to a shop to have an electric choke put on. This Scout is in awesome shape and only has a few small minor things to be perfect. Most of the interior has been raptor lined, which make it tough and easy to clean. This truck has a lot of power for an International and cruises down the freeway with ease. It is very easy to drive having the automatic transmission. There is a little bit of play in the steering but not bad at all. There is a small amount of bondo in the rear quarter panel and in the front floor. I took out the AC because it wasn't working and I never use it because I just take the top off when its hot. I also wanted to get rid of the hoses that went through the floor from the AC to help seal up the inside and get rid of the hoses that went through floor. I welded the holes shut and put a little bondo over them to flatten them out, I also put a little bondo in some dents in the floor. You can verify from the bottom that no rust has eaten through anything and you can see the dents still. This Scout also has a newer paint job and last week I decided to fix a dent in the rear quarter panel before I sell it. So since it has some new paint on it, it can't cant be waxed for 90 days. Also, the Speedometer is not the original, the original broke so I replaced it with this one. The Scout has about 109,000 miles on it and the Speedo says 49,000, just take away 40,000. That's everything I can think of right now. If you have any questions just let me know. I will try to post a video sometime in the future of a start up and driving. Below is a list of the positives and negatives. There is no warranty expressed or written. There is a $500.00 non refundable deposit due at the end of the auction. Regarding payment I will take Cash or Check but prefer a deposit through the bank. I can do Paypal for Deposit but would really prefer not too on the remaining balance because of their fees.
