1978 International Harvester Scout II, 345 ci, auto, beautiful red and silver paint, bushwhacker fender flares, steer-straight, hardtop convertible, top is currently off hanging in the garage ceiling for the last 7 or so years, newer dual exhaust, newer 15" tires (2k miles maybe on them), rebuilt starter, Grant steering wheel, runs good, no known body rust, light surface rust in areas under the car, fun to drive with the top off! I have new black carpet for the front (not installed), new fuel sending unit installed (gas guage is still not reading), new transmission pan (uninstalled). Original paint color was a yellow-beige type color. originally bought on ebay from Idaho, had a new $4k paint job according to the seller, which included minimal welded rust work above each rear wheel.

Issues: Horn does not function, transmission seals are leaking badly and need to be replaced (leaks bad after driving, something to do with the pressure pushing through shifter indent (sp) seals. these two small seals were bought and will come with the vehicle). As well, I am sure all the seals are worn and leaking from the undercarriage. The original plaid seat fabric is unstained, excellent, however, the vinyl parts are torn and seperated. And honestly, not real fond of the plaid seat color. The four wheel drive is not hooked up, no shaft, no idea what shape the transfer case or wheel hubs are in, the way I bought it.

I have only ever used it as a 2WD vehicle, i never took it off road, only weekend, nice weather driving. In the 7 or 8 years I have owned it, never caught in the rain, garage kept, barely driven in that time.
