1977 International Harvester Scout II

Professionally Restored Sunday Cruiser: Stripped to chassis and engine completely overhauled in 1996, full paperwork included.

Original Owner and garage stored since 1977, clear title. 304 cubic inch V-8 with 4 speed manual transmission; 2-wheel drive, 192,000 miles.

Many factory options: tilt wheel; a/c; power steering and brakes, Reese trailer towing package; cruise control; bucket seats; hard top; tinted windows (slight); original chrome rims and bumpers; over sized steering wheel; factory dual exhaust. Lap belts for buckets, and 2 lap belts for back seat. Back seat folds up for extra hauling capacity.

Items replaced include, brake master cylinder/booster, starter, plugs, cap, rotor, rear main seal, valve cover& valley pan & cam shaft plate gaskets. . All fluids have been replaced and new seats and floor mats installed. The carpet and vinyl are original and in decent shape for the year.

The engine starts at the turn of the key and sounds very healthy. The acceleration is superb and the entire drive-train is solid and tight. This Scout runs well and has no leaks, (does not) smoke, overheat or have any strange noises. The transmission shifts like clockwork through all the gears.

This is a "numbers matching classic car" (original engine and transmission.) All mechanical, electrical control systems work properly.

I am happy to answer any questions or set up a test drive, this is a great truck!
