1976 International Scott Ii Low Mileage Original 4 Speed 4x4 Runs Good on 2040-cars
Well I'm sure no expert on International Scouts, but a friend of mines father bought this 1976 Scout brand new. He died a year or so ago and I ended up buying it from his daughter.(it is basicaly a one owner vehicle). This scout truely looks, runs, and drives like an old mans car. Although not perfect, it was garaged most of it's life and was well cared for since day one. The biggest issue on this Scout is that it has some rust in the Rockers.(typical scout weakness). The rest of the body is mostly excellent. It has the 4 cyl. engine which is said to be "under- powered". However...it's saving grace is that it was ordered with the factory 4 speed, as well as power disc brakes. A friend of mine put 275,00 miles on one just like this.(they are very under-stressed and run forever). This Scout has new tiers, as well as a new battery. It has manual steering so it drives like a truck. I have the factory window sticker as well as the owners manual. The interior looks like that "army green color" I can tell you that it runs and drives excellent. This vehicle is almost 40 years old and I am selling it as- is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in anyway. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. My opening bid is 3,750.00 with no reserve... Now all this having been said... I honestly can't imagine finding a nicer or more original,or low mileage or more un-molested Scout like this for the price. . This is just how I received it.. I have no doubts that it could be driven anywhere at anytime.(just my opinion). I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I found it. I think that whomever ends up with this Scout will be very happy...just my thoughts. Terms of sale... I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
