This listing is for a 1976 International Harvester Scout II four wheel drive. It is in mechanically sound, unrestored, running and driving condition. This truck spent its life in Texas before coming here to Florida last year. It was purchased from the ranch of the longtime owner by a friend of mine whom I immediately acquired it from. It is now registered in Florida with a clean FL title. I have driven it a few times a week for the last few months and it has never left me stranded

This scout has a great patina to it and wears what appears to be all of its original paint and also has some dents, dings, scratches and some rust on the rockers and rear quarters. (Please take time to look at the pictures included).

When I purchased this scout, she had the rare pick up style cab on that looked like it had been on since new. I have since installed a typical scout topper with matching patina, but the pick up cab and bulkhead will be included and loaded in the bed. (See included pictures for a shot of the pick up cab installed)

This truck is powered by its original 304 V8 that is mated to an automatic transmission. The engine starts right up and runs and drives and the transmission shifts as it should.

The 4wd system works in all gears as it should and the locking front hubs lock and unlock freely.

This truck has independent heat/defrost and a/c that both work as they should. The heat is factory and the a/c is dealer installed.

The factory gauges all work with the exception of the temp gauge and there are aftermarket, temp, oil pressure and battery gauges installed in a pod by the shifter.

The power master terrain tires were replaced just a few months ago and have like new tread.

There is a radio installed but it does not function as there are no speakers installed in the vehicle.

I drive this scout a few times a week and take my kids to school in it even. It gets tons of complements and everybody loves the farm truck look.

I have bought and sold many cars through eBay and I can assist in shipping and even help arrange, but buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
