1976 International Harvester Ih Scout Ii Pickup Truck Nice One Owner ! on 2040-cars

Up for Auction is this 76 International PickUp Truck !

    This truck belongs to my neighbor and he has asked me to help him sell it.  He bought this truck brand new back in 1977 and apparently this is the last year you could purchase this truck.  I can tell he has taken very good care of this vehicle.  I have inspected the truck and can tell he has spent a small fortune in recent repairs.  I'm not that familiar with these trucks but was really impressed with all the options and innovations that this truck came with back in the 70's.  Also, he has the original owners manual, bill of sale, window sticker, and receipts from when it was bought new and receipts from all the repairs over the years.  This truck cost over $6000 back in 1977.  

-  Professionally Rebuilt original 345 V8 with 2V .  Low miles on this engine.  Runs like at top, very powerfull, no knocks, smokes, oil leaks etc...  It is very clean and runs very smooth.

-  Rebuilt Auto Transmission.   Wheel drive works fine too.

-  Rebuilt brakes,  Power disc up front

-  Power Steering and Factory Air conditioning which is probably rare in these trucks.  The AC needs a charge I believe.

-  Radiator has been redone and New Dual Exhaust.

-  New Michelin Tires

-  The interior is in Excellent shape.  The seat is in mint condition with nice cloth upholstery.  Dash pad is perfect.  The interior is all stock, nothing cut up or added.  Factory AM / FM radio. Every guage , switch and all lights work like they should.  The rifle is NOT included in the sale.

-  Overall the truck has a great body.  No damage or dents.  Infact is is really nice and straight.  The glass and trim is all in good shape.  Apparently, the top can be removed.  This truck has had one repaint a few years ago and the clearcoat is peeling on the upper services. The frame is rust free and overall the underside looks real nice.  I found 2 places in the bed that have some early signs of rusting that I would like to see fixed soon.  And then the rockers under each door have some rust.  Other than that, its really nice. 

This is a Great one owner low mileage Rare truck that you can drive daily !  Very Low reserve... Infact, I may buy the truck if it doesn't sell, but I would like to see him get as much as he can !   Bid to win !  I can put you in touch with the owner if you have specific questions that I cannot answer.
