I love this Scout. It runs and drives. It always cranks right up even if you let it sit a month. It runs strong, but the Carburetor needs cleaned. The prior owner said it was his daily driver up until he sold it to me. I have not had much time to cruise around in it (as I bought it in December and we have been busy with other cars since) but I would expect this to be a very strong, dependable vehicle. The engine bay is very clean and looks great (especially for the age).

Once we bought it, I did a thorough inspection of everything needed to get it completely restored and up to my standards. We are perfectionist. We try to clean up what we can (within reason) or purchase new. So if it is not mentioned, it is useable. There is rust on the vehicle in the usual spots. We bought replacement pieces (metal) for all the issue areas except for the 2 pieces of sheet metal you will need for the bed/bench area. We purchased the majority of what we needed to complete the car. I have listed the parts purchased to complete, along with what would be left (if you choose to purchase/use). It comes with the doors, tailgate, half cab, windows, etc (not pictured). We really felt overall this was a good truck. The bid includes everything I purchased below. Clean title.

Rearview Mirror (current looks bad)

Still Needs or issues:
Carburetor needs cleaning
Air cleaner assembly needs worked on
Wiring for tail lights, reverse lights, etc.
^A 1/4 " Sheet metal for bed
1/8" sheet metal for bench seat area in bed
One door is dented. We were not going to install the doors so it was not a problem for us. However, if you are unable to fix dents on your own, you may need to purchase a new door.
